I’m happy with the season

I am happy the are on this 4 game win streak and are in first place.
I won’t say they turned it around until they beat the Eagles. Win that game, then I will be happy.
Lose, it all means nothing. And Garrett should be fired if the lose.
We disagree on a couple things but you have my respect because you hung in there when many gave up when 3-5. Hell, many gave up after the 1st loss.

Id say I am content currently. A win this week and I smile. A win this week and next (could clinch the division) makes me cheerful. A playoff spot makes me happy.

Sunday will be a perfect day. Cold and sunny after 3 days of rain. Perfect for hunting. If the game goes poorly, I'll just go outside and kill something.

Kool-Akd?

Oh and Blatz beer, I have not had one of those in 43 years, when I was in Ohio and was 16.
Don’t deny yourself the premium taste & quality that is BLATZ. I’ve been to Milwaukee so I ought to know!

Blatz, Hudapol, Weideman, Scheonling, Black Label. Then you could go up in class. Pabst Blue Ribbon, Stroh’s
I am sure there are a few more. Like Old Milwaukee too. Imperial, Lone Star here in Texas

Defense is what is making everyone so happy around here because the passing offense flat out stinks, although it is now somewhat better than the early season flatline.

Exactly Joe - and although you didn't say it, I will.

We probably win the Division, but get beat in the playoffs and the residual effects are--

Garrett keeps his job.
Linehan keeps his job.
Dak gets his contract.

We can only pray Jerry doesn't give Dak a max contract. I think Dak deserves an extension but as Parcells always says - you know about a player after three years. Giving Dak anything over 18 million per hamstrings the organization with others like Zeke, Cooper and Ware who are coming up.

It would be disastrous.

We are held hostage by recent bias - yes we've won but really, how have we won compared to other dynamic offenses.

We could be stuck in horrific oblivion for several years with a great defense but average offense, below average quarterback and limited options in free agency in an increasingly offensive minded league.

I like Dak as a person, leader, and competitor but so was Tebow.

Make no mistake, we will be perpetually behind the curve without a consistently good to great quarterback in a conference that has Goff, Brees and Wilson, an emerging Trubisky a healthy Garoppolo and a competent Cousins and let's not think Aaron Rodgers will be down for long.

so far.

Props to Jerry,Stephen,Jason,Dakota and anyone else I forgot about along the way.

I’m excited for Sunday.

I’m ready to see 19 get smash and 11 hitting the bench in the second half.

I’m hoping for a blow out.

That happens I’m having 3 after win beers.

It’s time to believe. Where’s RICO? Can we get a quintuple platinum guarantee?

Posted before the Philly game because you yourself have no faith in Garrett

Laughable

Interesting. I got criticized for calling a few people drunks and here’s a thread full of them. What gives?

Killing for fun. I don’t get it. But each is own.

3 beers!!! I used to have that for breakfast when I was in junior high!! Salud!
Your post reminds me of a Shooter McGavin quote.

“Oh you’re on. You’re in big trouble though pal... I eat pieces of ____t like you for breakfast!”

:muttley:

So what's the drink tonight?? Much less Sunday's victory beers? Rocking some Dewar's on a Thurs night? Jameson's maybe? LOL
