This states that the Cowboys rank 17th in defensive DVOA, but they actually rank 7th; up from closer to 20 at the start of the win streak.

Their WEI defense, which is supposed to put less weight on the earlier games, is 6th.

But anybody with eyes can see this defense is top 3 in the league.

Starting to hate the analytics. I'm sure NE had a 99.999999% chance of beating MIA with 7 seconds left.

And?

You posted a % that indicated it would take a very unlikely play for Miami to win. Miami scored on a very unlikely play.

I don't think the analytics are the problem here - more an issue with your poor interpretation of them.

Scoring Avg is still the big one. Yards and efficiency have gone up all over the place, but the red zone offside issues continue to be this team's undoing. It's the one component that stands to derail an otherwise dominant team. If it's not fixed soon, it will certainly cost us in the playoffs.
common sense says the one area you truly want a big catch threat TE is red zone.
it's our weakest position now that we have amari.
when your best red zoenplay is qb read option or draw then RZ success will be tough.
