I'm starting to get the feeling the NFL is scripted to an extent. How does our defense look awesome, but then all of a sudden they look like utter trash and don't even attempt to tackle. I'm sure, as has already been mentioned, somehow all three teams in the NFC East will be vying for that final playoff spot

It has been talked about for decades how it can be scripted and rigged.

Everett did it twice, too. But my guess is Goff wasn't telling them to get out of bounds. He shouldn't have to, they should know that, but the QB is the "field general" and it's up to him to be situationally aware.. It's like Manning in that immortal shoot-out with Romo at Jerry World. After Romo threw that INT, the Broncos moved to a 3rd down inside the 5 and could get a 1st down without scoring. Peyton told the back to get the 1st down, but DO NOT SCORE. The back was like "what the hell", but Peyton knew the could run the clock down and a FG would win it, but if they scored on that play, we would've had about 1:20 left for us to score a TD to tie. It's situation awareness.
