Which is the reason the Dink and Dunkster must be signed to a huge long term contract. If we let him test free agency there will be a Huge Bidding War! Not because of his actual passing rating or results, but rather for the intangibles he bring some to the table. That’s what is the true measure of a Qb. That’s why most of the forum ignored Romos perennial top 5 passer stats. He simply didn’t have the intangibles necessary for elite status that Dakota does

Watch this one.

Darren Woodson going off on how much a scrub Dak really is and asking how on earth they can justify this guy in respect to Romo. Darren Woodson says the day Romo came, he was the best QB period on the roster.

You can tell that the management has no basis for why and spewing forth nonsense, such as “intangibles” and “leadership” to try and justify their decision to continue playing Dak. They have ‘faith’ and Dak has ‘it’. What a joke.. This management makes up these excuses when they used to pray for the day Romo would return from injury to bail them out once again.

Who on this offense has actually played with Romo for this claim to be taken seriously? Gallup, Cooper, Hurns, Elliott, Jarwin for them to talk about ‘trust’...

Dak is the master of fooling people with sounds good talk. Even people on here be on that he's a leader bs talk. Ain't no "leader" of mine a cat that's isn't as good at whatever thing we are doing. Where they do that at? People better trust but verify instead of being so quick to fall for words. That's how you end up in the Ponzi scheme just listening to sounds good talk.

The fans who can’t even give Dak his due for the things he does really well are so annoying it makes me almost want the team to give Dak a big extension this offseason. Almost.

That was actually confusing. They all agree Tony was the better QB, but Dak has that "it" factor? They believe in him? Is Dak a Jedi or something?

They don’t. Darren is just repeating what he is hearing from the guys he asked and Stephen isn’t either, which he goes on to say no way I can believe that rationale. The only way it makes sense is personality wise: I think Max nowadays just taking these dumb positions opposite to Smith as part of his job.

It’s the nonsense narratives these guys in Dallas are spewing now. They have to defend their decision of hedging everything on Dak, despite knowing he can’t pass the ball. The fact is Woodson is saying these guys all agree Dak isn’t accurate or a great passer.

The thing is we actually heard the same story back then, that Romo had it, but they called it “Moxie”, but in that case Romo was actually talented and Woodson said and says straight up he was the best QB by far. For Dak, we have nonsense such as, he doesn’t practice well and that they don’t want an open competition. So this idea being fronted in Jerry’s world is just a garbage narrative and they know Dak isn’t great at throwing the ball.

I liked Romo a lot. He was a very good QB.

That being said you keep saying that Woodson said he was the best QB on the team by far when he was signed by the Cowboys.

The other QB’s on the roster were Quincy Carter and Chad Hutchinson. OF COURSE Romo was better than both of them. And yes Romo was a very good QB.

I remember Romo his first pre season. U could tell he was talented even then.

But what does That have to do with Dak right now in present time?

Because Romo was talented from the get go, meaning this idea that his ‘development’ is similar to Dak and the latter needs more time is bogus.

If anything, Parcells stifled the development of Romo, because he wanted to play his veterans and win with them. He didn’t want to bench Bledsoe, but he was so awful he had to and Romo ended up saving the season. Anybody that was actually paying attention knew Romo was that dude.

With Dak’s he’s not talented as a passer, isn’t accurate nor does he practice well. The only thing they are going by supposedly is he has ‘it’ or some ‘intangibles’. They want people to buy the decision they can supposedly get to the promised land based on intangibles and that’s a joke.. They just saying this now because they don’t want to look stupid and are digging their heels further in this mess. They can’t sell his poor QB play.

Take a stroll through any one of the Dak threads. It’s pointed out repeatedly in just about every one. Along with his weaknesses.
