Dak has been severely limited as a QB by our coaching staff. Get rid of Garrett and Linehan and we will have an effective offense that knows how to use Dak.

The last play before the half really showed his ineptness. Sack is the LAST thing you want to happen. If you see no one open, either take off and run out of bounds to stop the clock or throw it away.

Instead, run backwards, sacked, and not even give Maher a chance.

I don’t see why this is so hard.

Dak is a one read QB that needs everything scripted for him. I think Garrett and Linehan like it, because they have more CONTROL over the team.

As long as the games are close and Zeke is moving the chains, with the defense playing the way it is, and Dak isn’t behind more than two scores, he’s fine like any average QB who could be inserted into this line-up is.

The formula gets messed up when we go down because the defense has a bad game and Dak has to win it with his arm.

He's producing well for where he was drafted.. Playing amongst the first rounders, statistically.

It isn't always pretty. But I'll take that. He doesn't do flat out stupid stuff, which can just as easily cost you the game.

He's winning. And he just won the division title in a league with Wentz and Manning.. I'll take that.

Just how low is your bar for the QB position? He puts up a donut last week with the division title on the line and lead us to nothing today. The defense won this game and has lead the way all year. They scored a TD and set Dak up on the 3 yard line for another TD. He's not getting better and has actually fallen off when the pressure got turned up. He is what he is..........a bus driver who did just enough not to lose.

He's not winner until he wins. Last I checked, he hadn't won a playoff game.

They won in spite of him.

Again.

Ever think maybe Dak is winning in spite of his coaches?

Or maybe, coaches are holding a young QB back some so he doesn't make costly mistakes?

I don't know. I like to take it past the first step of the thinking process.

Not here, though.

Even when you do a good job, overall, albeit not perfect, everyone here is going to criticize you no matter what.

It happened to Romo, too.

He sucked, even when he won, if you ask our fans.

Could someone quantify “leadership” for me. I’m trying to figure out how many yards or points Daks leadership brings to the table!

Does it mean that we are better prepared like when he takes sacks on 3rd down and knocks us out of position. Or does that leadership keep the guys more focused like David Irving getting back to the team, or guys not committing stupid mistakes. Or does this leadership mean that guys rally harder and don’t choke like in the Indy game.

Just asking for a friend who doesn’t know much about sportzzzz
Apparently, leadership is part of that "IT" factor.

The coaches call what Dak can do.

Which is virtually nothing.

He's a backup journeyman quarterback, nothing more.

No coach could fix him.

Romo took 3-13 rosters to three playoffs.

Dak is ruining a really great roster.

You consider 160 passing yards a "good job"?

Dallas is just trying to sell Dak while winning conservatively on a great defense and Zeke.

It may work this year with the way the NFC East is, but there is nothing to think this defense will maintain such a high level of play for a few years or that Zeke, with the workload he is carrying, can maintain this level of play.

Cooper was shut out today like last week against a bad defense and he wasn’t see the coverages he saw with the Commanders and Eagles. Like I said, Cooper breaking out had more to do with the defense begging Dak to make those plays than Cooper himself.

Thats been a problem all year. However, that play took too long to develop. Why are we running 25 yard curl routes while we have an Oline with so many injuries?

Can't we use play action for once to buy some time for Dak?

Of course you realize that if we didn't get those two TD's off of Winston's fumbles ... we'd have lost the game.

This is a fallacy because you project every play would work out the same way and the score would be the same. They may have lost. Or they may have scored without the turnovers.

I consider holding down the fort and *not costing us games* to *get us to the playoffs* a successful season.

He held the ball just long enough to win the NFCE, and garnered a playoff berth.

Again.

With one game left to play.
