Isn’t it great that after a 3-5 start Jerry went out and did something about the anemic WR corps? It took big juevos to go out and give up a #1 pick for a player of great need. 90% of this board complained about the pick. Now those same posters are totally silent about it. Not only did Cooper turn around this offense but he has also give the team a big shot of energy and more importantly confidence. Kudos to Jerry, Stephen, Garrett and McClay for having the guts to make the trade.

Yup, the trade completely changed the offense. After scoring 20 points per game before the trade, they improved to scoring 19.5 points per game after it.

I'l give credit where credit is due: getting Cooper was a good move. I had no opinion at first. I was willing to let it play out. It seems to have worked.

The last 2 games does worry me that DC's have figures out how to take him out of games. A total of 52 yards in those 2 games.

But for now, it looks like a good move. I don't think you will get a player of his abilities drafting in the mid 20's.

It was a GREAT move. Man up and just admit it.

That's only because the snit happens game for us (Jags) happened before the trade and the one against us (Colts) happened after the trade. No serious person thinks the offense is the same with Amari as it was with Hurns getting his one catch per game leading the WR corps.

I would have been more giddy if they kept the WR core we had and got a decent QB with that pick. That would help this offense 10X more than the WR. But Cooper has been good, no doubt, but WR was not and is not the biggest issue on this offense, Fix the QB, fix the offense.
