Without even going into all of the comments, I'm just going to put this out here. "Dak haters" is an over used term by people here who can't stand anyone criticizing a player. I've gone on record more than once praising Dak saying "He has the tools to be a really great QB." My issue with Dak, and I think many here who give him pause, is evident on tape. By year 3, you want to start seeing an improvement in negative areas of a players critiqued game. He still holds the ball too long, he still has rough field vision, and he coughs up the ball, or takes unnecessarily sacks because of it. This doesn't make a fan a hater for seeing that. I've watched two Dak's for 3 years. We want one more often than the other. Right now it's 50/50. I still believe a good QB coach could really make him special, because he has the swagger of a guy that can get past those mental errors. I hope Dak is the next best thing, but I am not such a homer that I see past the poor play. I support this team, and Dak. I hope the organization gives him the coaching he needs to succeed at a high level, because he certainly has the talent.

They want to turn this lovely Cowboy-zone chat into the official "I love Dak" chat after a meaningless game with one of the worst Defenses in the league into Daks coming of age.......they have failed and will continue failing as most of us are Cowboy fans not Dak-Fans....

P.S. Their Failure is due to the fact that Boys fans have eye's and can pretty much decide what grade of quality QB they have under center...so far we doubters are the majority now....may Dak prove us wrong....
I'm sure we'd all love for Dak to win a SB. Its the fact I don't think he can be the main reason why at the most important position on offense that has me saying he's Alex Smith jr. People act like Dak Mahommes level QB and I'm saying he's avg. He is what he is avg and if he wins a SB by playing good why would I take anything away from him? I'd be happy the Boys have won again. Some on here are really Dak fans and or bots to start trouble lol.

You saw the game. He threw two gifts.

And I spent $1,000 for my seats Saturday, so you're damn straight they'd better win.
Honest questions:

Do you sit there in your 500$ seats and complain about how bad Dak is?
Do you explain to those around you how his stats/wins etc. don’t matter because you’re sure he’s no good?

Do you feel he plays well in “crunch time”? How do you determine whether he does or not?

I’m not attacking you or trying to pile on to the hole you’re digging. I would like to know where you’re coming from and how you got there.

I agree. Now if we can keep his agent sober everything should work out
I actually hope the agent is passed out drunk. If sober the first thing he'll say is "Dak has had 3 yrs in league, 3winning seasons. 2 Division titles. Averaged only 8 Ints a season and did so with a sispect line the last season and a half. We want $$$$$$$ and your precious Romo never had b2b winning seasons as a full-time starter." That is what I'm afraid of. Those are all legit points. Even though I don't think he's worth big bucks.

Yes...this "horrible team" became the first team to score more than 30 against our D.

And too bad gor Dak...it doesn't matter that he was without 3 pro bowlers, score 36 or we lose.

So he did.

It dosent matter how great a performance Dak has . How many pro bowlers we subtract from the roster , How many points we score 4th Qtr come backs , Passing yrds , TDs no Ints, away game . He totally put the team on his back and these fake fans will just move the goal post .

This was the fool that said in a post that Romo was the best QB in Cowboy history so what can we really expect . Just glad Dak is making him miserable and the rest of his kind . Real Cowboy fans are patient and enjoying Dak mature before our eyes as he is quietly taking us to the playoffs and having a great season .

Nice to have a home playoff game to look forward to rather than watching some ill advised pass thrown by a great passer end our season before the post season

I agree. When Dak has made mistakes I have called him out on those mistakes, but when a man goes out and plays as Dak did yesterday and people do not have the balls to stand up and say he played a great game just shows how agenda driven some are. Call out a player when they make mistake but damn give them credit for good play as well. Some of our fans truly are pathetic

Tony Romo entered the NFL in 2003 a better thrower than Dak Prescott ever will be.

And as for the game winner, that was a good throw but a great catch by Beasley. Without a great play by the WR you're talking about Prescott missing yet again as he leads his receiver out of bounds. Even the commentator pointed it out afterwards.

All true Risen and early in the season we had a bunch of catchable balls bounce of guys hands and get Inted that I partially blamed on Garrett not playing the guys together in preseason
At this point in the season I expect the veteran receivers on this team to be bringing there A game and they did . The Giants also had a guy making some pretty great one hand catches and if not the game would not have been as close .

These type catches are not what we are used to but happen every week in the NFL for other teams . For a Quick reference watch the catches Hopkins makes for the Texans QB or some of the ones Edelman has made for Brady .

Can someone please find and bump the "I would rather have Kirk Cousins (or any other QB) vs Dak Prescott" thread? I can't seem to find it. How's that 84 million looking Minnesota? Kirk will have plenty of time this January to spend it. Maybe he can buy a fancy couch to watch Dak play next weekend? :star:
Good thing you can't find it. You'd probably end up on the bench.

I hear you brother I think the guy really put the team on his back with the limited tools he was given stepped up and gave a performance that we as Cowboy fans could be proud of along with giving his team a boost of confidence going into the post season that he was ready to get it done .

Im very proud of our young QB and proud to be a Cowboys fan . I can remember many season ending games sitting in disappointment and the fact that we had the greatest statistical passer was of no consolation.

I posted earlier in the year and was told I was "cherry picking games" BS. From last years ATL game to this years Tennessee game. He stunk. 16 games 20 total TDS and 21 total turnovers. What happened in those 16 games? No Tyron, No Zeke, rapidly declining Dez, then this year No Dez, No Witten, No top WR, bad line play, That was his bad season and it just happened to split from 2017 and 2018. The 24 games prior were great and the 8 games since were great. 65TDs and only 17 turnovers. He is tough, he is clutch. He misses what seems to be easy throws to wide open guys, YET still completes 67% of his passes and I have total faith in him late in games.

It’s funny to think there was a time when stupid debates like these were going on over whether or not Tony Romo could play. Then later we all get to the “my bad, this crow sure tastes delicious!” posts. Maybe somebody puts something in their sig to show how wrong they were. And we all move on to blamin the OC or the HC. I can’t wait.

Hold on a second...I read many forum posters and they say Dak sucks. Did he stop sucking because I thought sucking was a permanent condition?

I am happy for the guy. I am a big believer and supporter of Dak. The haters never seemed to factor in the terrible o line play, young receivers, and awful game planning and playcalling of Linehan. That stuff had a big negative impact. Dak has the qualities you can’t learn plus he is tough and talented. He needs to work on being more accurate, getting his feet set, and going through his progressions quicker. Better line play and a better OC will go a long way towards helping that. Plus K Moore as a QB coach is just idiotic. Maybe 5 years from now but Dak needs a veteran coach that can actually help today. That he has overcome the stupidity around him is a testament to the quality and character of the man.

I hope the haters back off the guy.

I don't have to say a word. The while section shakes their heads and complains about Dak all game because Dallas rarely scores touchdowns.
