Black Monday

I just praised him. What’s the deal with the egotistical part? Heaven’t heard much about it

Very stubborn. Would never take the blame. Distributed to the players instead. Was overwhelmed calling plays but still stuck with it. Acted like a 10 year vet HC with rings on his fingers.
Ran out players. Couldn't connect with the players outside of Ryan Tannehill.
Basically lost the locker room this year.

Talent wise, the Dolphins had an average line when healthy, but had players like Ajayi, Drake, Gore at RB.
Stills, Landry, Wilson and others at WR. They had talent but Gase had issues with gameplans. Abandoned the run way too fast.

I was not impressed with his play calling what so ever. Bubble screens galore.

they're already saying on the fan this morning that kris richard is going to get one of these jobs. "0% chance he's back."
I think that is a bit premature. It would take some big time production from the Dallas defense in the playoffs for it to be a lock. He will get interviews though, no question.

Believe it or not - but Cleveland with Mayfield is a team with a upward trend -- more so than the Cardinals, Jets, Dolphins, Broncos, Bengals, Buccaneers & even the dysfunctional Packers.
In my opinion, Mayfield has turnaround that franchise.
Get a young QB with high ceiling as a franchise QB, a strong arm with accuracy, & strong leadership skills, and an organization has the potential to be competitive.

If we're thinking about OCs, I might try to poach Koeter. Say what you will about him as a HC, but that offense has been explosive. Dak has the physical ability to do everything that Jameis does.
Problem with Dirk is that he relies too much on the passing and less on the rushing. That always was his problem since he was the OC for Atlanta.

Party on! I'm still here guys.

it will be interesting. i think Cleveland (McCarthy) and Packers (Fitzgerald, history between him and Mark Murphy) are kind of set with their coaches. I don't see AZ or Jets going with a defensive coach again with a young QB.

So it's down to Denver, Tampa, Miami, Bengals.

I think he has a 30% chance of getting a HC job.:)

Yea, but that was the same for Linehan and even JG, originally. Coaches can change their approach, but I'd covet that downfield passing game.

they let gase go?
I cant believe Wilks was let go after 1 scant year. THATS A SIGN OF A BAD FRONT OFFICE...NO PLAN.

Owner and GMs have a quick trigger and IMO not fair..what the heck do you expect when you fire the original coach and now 1-3 years they are supposed to turn around a team that got the last coach fired..there should be minimum 5 years for coaches to eb given shot to actually succeed..some of these are knee jerk firings that owners and GMs have ADHD..take some chill pills and give a coach an actual shot or fire yourself..

If I am zona, I am running like hell to the table and signing Mike McCarthy. The other option is to wait for Kris Richard.
