Black Monday

Very stubborn. Would never take the blame. Distributed to the players instead. Was overwhelmed calling plays but still stuck with it. Acted like a 10 year vet HC with rings on his fingers.
Ran out players. Couldn't connect with the players outside of Ryan Tannehill.
Basically lost the locker room this year.

Talent wise, the Dolphins had an average line when healthy, but had players like Ajayi, Drake, Gore at RB.
Stills, Landry, Wilson and others at WR. They had talent but Gase had issues with gameplans. Abandoned the run way too fast.

I was not impressed with his play calling what so ever. Bubble screens galore.

Interesting. I winder what happened with him. He was really good in Chicago.

I expect K. Richard to be one and done here.
I hate to agree, but yep. OTHERWISE, don't be shocked if we retain Richard and name him HC,fire Garrett. Rather than lose him, I would fire Garrret and name him HC.

Zona feels like the best fit for Richard as HC. He knows that division all too well.

Coaches don't grow on trees. As much as i want Garrett replaced, we don't have many options. I do agree with Linnehan being replaced

With this young team, we should get a championship winning college coach.
Im going all in with Saban honestly. I think Lincoln Riley is simply fools gold. Saban commands instand cred and respect. HE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS FOR BREAKFAST.

Think he was just over his head. He had final say on the 53 man roster, which ESPN reported that he didn't want to give that up and he got fired.

He never was involved in anything regarding the defense. His picks for DC were putrid.

Miami is sort of a tire fire, but you didn't see much of an "offensive genius". It was abandon the run and continue on the same passing gameplan even if it is not working.

Maybe he knew he could find another HC gig and didn't give a damn if he got fired there. Reminded me of Josh McDaniels in Denver. Acted like he owned the place and it came crashing down real quick.

His 53 man roster was interesting to start the year. 4 QBs and 5 RBs.
*They added Bolden(RB) early on in the year to make it 5.

Most of those teams will be seeking an offensive gurus, and coaches that potential to develop QB's.
Richard may be interviewed (Rooney rule), but front offices seem focused on head coaches that at least have a strong suite in developing QB's/confident offensive play-callers (Nagy, McVay, Kyle Shanahan, Frank Reich, etc.).

If you fire a coach after one year, it says a lot about your recruiting and talent acquisition skills than their performance.

It says a lot about the Management's poor evaluation of coaching talent.

The coach gets the blame, but the GM and Owner are the ones that really screwed up.

Hurting Richard is that he's a defensive coach. A lot of these teams have young QBs.

The NFL isn't geared that way with the rules.

I’m not all in on the Richard kool aid. Don’t think he’s any better than Eberflus was. The D has collapsed down the stretch.
True that Eberflus (who we dog piled) is killing it in Indy.
