I agree with this but I still couldn't bring myself to root for them.I think the odds are far better now than they would have been with an Eagles loss yesterday.
If we could write the story this is how I'd want it to read. Of course, with a storybook ending for us.Here's something to think about Dallas wings and Philly wins it will be an NFC East Showdown to go to the Super Bowl in Dallas?
Very very very interesting!
I see some of this stuff. "We already exceeded our expectations so I'm good" or "I never thought we would get here so anything else is gravy". Well that's a bunch of C#@P and I'm not satisfied until we win the SB.
The 2nd place ribbon is over there on the asthma field.
You know, you're "everyone who's not a Homer is a quitter" routine is a lot worse than his Realist routine. At least he's humorous on occasion. You're just bitter, mean and angry 99% of the time.Goes along with being a quitter.
I don't think it's lost in the excitement, I think it's at the forefront of the fear.Lost in the excitement around here is the fact that this team has only accomplished getting where they've been 4 times in the last 11 years and they are 0-4 when they get there.
I've enjoyed the season. The team has a legitimate shot at a championship run, but they have to take advantage of the opportunity. They couldn't in '14 or '16. Go Cowboys!
Lost in the excitement around here is the fact that this team has only accomplished getting where they've been 4 times in the last 11 years and they are 0-4 when they get there.
2007: N.Y. Giants L 21-17
2009: Minnesota L 34-3
2014: Green Bay L 26-21
2016: Green Bay L 34-31
Can they do it?
I have my doubts but you knew that already.

I don't think there is anything magical about the division round. It's how good your team is. How good the opponents are.
The Ram haven't looked good in the back half of the season, while we have.
But we've got a big issue with injuries and quality at WR and TE. Beasley and Austin gimpy, Hurns out. Then the jv squad at TE. Smith as a meh #2 RB.
We're back to leaning on one RB and one WR, and this time without Witten.
I'm guessing that SuaFilo comes back. That should help some. But I don't see enough weapons on offense to really compete.
Now this is a Cowboys fan. He won't lower the bar of expectations. He doesn't give a damn how popular it is with others. He's holding the Cowboys to a standard that the architects did back in the 60s. Jerry won't kill his Cowboys.
Or 09. Or 07.
And if we want to go back further in this drought, or 96 either.
The divisional round hurdle. Maybe Zeke can clear it.
You said they’d lose to Seattle. Not just that you didn’t think they’d win but emphatically, over and over again that they would lose. WTH do you know?Lost in the excitement around here is the fact that this team has only accomplished getting where they've been 4 times in the last 11 years and they are 0-4 when they get there.

I don't know about you but I'm tired of being lumped in with the Commanders and Lions as the longest drought of Championship game appearances.
We are 60 minutes away at a chance to play for a Super Bowl appearance. Our 9th. Is this the team to do it or are they just like all the rest?
This is all that matters to me because if they simply do on Saturday night what the others have done recently then this season, as entertaining as it's been, is just more of the same.
All playoff games are season defining but this one is state of the franchise defining.
Can they do it?
I have my doubts but you knew that already.
