Yup. What I like about Dak is how he carries himself despite being s young kid. Turning down Kanye West tickets for film sessions etc. while tony was too busy trying to be a celebrity.

I see why the organization is upbeat about him in a way they never were with romo

Romo would be in Cabo right now. And don't forget Witten, either. He was right there with him. He was not a real leader, either. He was a coaches' pet and that's it.

This team rallies around Dak and believes in him. Dak is a leader and commands respect. Romo was the polar opposite of that. Hardly a leader at all. People think it's just "bad luck" and circumstances of why that core never won anything. But it wasn't.

If I'm Dak....I'm pickin' Troy's brain every chance I get.
Roger's too....and I'd keep them in a notebook for easy reference.
They've lived it and succeeded.
It's another tool for the tool bag only he has access too...take advantage of it...I would.

Dak is definitely the closest thing to Aikman we have had.
As far as temperament - they aren't close.
Aikman got in your face for missing an assignment, even if it was his fault.
Dak winks, tells them to get their *** back to the huddle and they'll get it the next play.
Which his teammates love...

As far as skill-set... you're going to have to show me something on that one.

I thought "you either have it or you don't". Wasn't that what he said earlier in the season? I figured he was talking about Dak not having "IT".

I thought there was a shot if you had "it". lol

He was talking about accuracy under pressure. I heard the interview live. He said Dak has shown issues with his accuracy, which is the straight up truth during the first 8 weeks. Aikman has never beaten around the bush with his analysis.

You must be in the locker room to be such an expert on this stuff!

Troy seems to go back and forth on Dak, depending on how well Dak plays or whether or not the Cowboys win or lose that week.

He’s probably right, and if we get the Dak we’ve seen the last couple of games I’m good with that. Because he showed real growth IMO.

Dak has to be the most polarizing Dallas quarterback ever.

I would say that Romo is up there, even though the revisionist history, agenda having, Dak Haters would have some believe that Romo was never trashed in his earlier career, like Dak is being trashed now. Because of the legendary status some currently build up Romo to be, the Anti-Dak crowd tends to forget or overlook the fact that the exact same things currently said to bash Dak, were the same said against Romo in his first 3 or 4 seasons.

And if Jerry listened to the Anti Romo could, then Romo wouldn't have even been a Cowboys QB long enough to build up the legend he is in some Cowboys fans minds.

He outplayed rivers as a rookie Quarterback.

Thrown into the fire he somehow handely took the raven and to the playoffs battling top heavyweights like the chargers to get there.

Ravens are a lock for playoffs every year he’s under center. They’ll be early favorites to win the Super Bowl if Lamar gets comfy slinging that rock

I dont doubt his talent, I doubted you telling me the Ravens would be in the superbowl.

Definitely kind of agree with the flip-flopper, but not necessarily for the same reasons you do. Troy has always voiced his support of Dak and wants him to do well, but his objectivity and harsh honesty from the booth sometimes rubs folks the wrong way.

To me, he's more of a flip-flopper in the sense that he was calling for an organizational overhaul as recently as two months ago, and now thinks this team is poised for a legitimate Super Bowl run.

I think we were all calling for an organizational overhaul two months ago. After that Titans game, who wasn't thinking we had some serious issues?

Dude, come on.

When trolling--you still have to maintain some ambiguity or sense of wanting to be taken seriously.

I don't think even Lamar's momma would support the statement in bold.
He did. Lamar had more yards and passing touchdowns
