Again I am sorry if you are having a hard time comprehending "season stats" vs several games or one game...my point throughout has been about the entire season stats.

The Rams rank 28th against the run for the season.

And "tackles is where a LB is measure first" shows more of your ignorance and the fact you have no idea what you're talking about. Where and when said "tackles" take place means more. But again, all you'll see is "tackles for loss' there too and not the fact that this guy's tackles come 10 yards down the field. Keep killing any credibility you have left.

Good stuff still doesn't deflect from what I have said all along. You're making points on something I never claimed one time he was....because I already knew he wasn't ranked high vs the run. Unlike you guys though I will not argue vs stats like this which like mine were provided in black and white. If your original statement would have read the rams LBs are terrible vs the run I would have moved right along and like the entire OP...however knowing CL just graded out as an "overall" top ten LB this past year I couldn't agree with the statement the rams lbs are trash..thus why I singled him out and showcased his overall stats. Now like some of his games you are showcasing areas of his weaknesses vs his overall game which I have done throughout. So if you would like to take a different direction and claim the rams and the lbs are terrible vs the run, I am on board with that statement. That is a statement as you just showed you can back up.

He graded as 39th. Not overall top ten. And he is the worst starter in the league against the run.

What I'd like is to communicate with someone capable of understanding that one tackle isn't the same as another, that they're more than just cumulative numbers. That a tackle ten yards downfield after you missed the first one isn't the same as making it the first time.

That 90 tackles in 16 games started for the 28th ranked run defense doesn't "blow away" 102 tackles in 11 games started for the 8th ranked run defense.

I THINK any of us here can scout the Rams lol. Just go watch there games. This thread is funny. They run the rock and everything they wanna do revolves around Gurley,be it pass or run. The Rams go as Gurley goes. Woods,cooks etc go AS GURLEY GOES. The defense is great covering the pass and beastly at getting pressure,but have issues stopping the run. How many times do we have to explain that tackles doesn't make you a top player. Where did the tackles happen? How many plays did you face? The guy gets a lot of tackles after 5-15 yard gains. Is that a good player? No, it's not -- he's back that far because he's either running from contact or getting blasted. Over and over and over again.

Not ignoring anything and like i just told him not sure how this is getting separated but go look for yourself. Just type in NFL stats for LBs in 2018. Shocking the guy comes in at number ten...wow. Again makes him top ten and again proves yet again my original statement and statement throughout is CL is not trash and is a top ten LB based on overall LB stats for 2018. Facts are signed sealed and delivered. I'm sorry your still having trouble doing your own research.

So we are looking at two different sites you are looking at PFF which is not just the cold hard stats I keep referring to throughout. How many times do i have to tell you he graded out as a top ten lb based on his overall stats. I provided it in black font straight from the NFL page where stats are kept for individual players. Keep using all the sites and games you can so stash has something to look at though. I will keep using the same factual stats I have been bringing up since the beginning. You know the one where opinions aren't brought into the equation like you both so often have done. I don't care if his 100 plus tackles don't make him a good LB in your eyes, my eyes, or anyone else's eyes. The fact has been and will remain with me he in fact is a top ten LB per the NFL based on his overall stats and will remain so forever for 2018 and that will never be changed unless the NFL changes how they record their stats for this overall ranking.
