Romo is like Danny White: A good QB who just couldn't get over the hump due to unfortunate circumstances in games (the three NFC Championship Game losses from 1980-1982); and then both were replaced by someone new (the White era gave way to Aikman; the Romo era gave way to Dak.)

Dak is in his 3rd year as starter. By his 3rd starting year, Troy had led the Cowboys to 11-5 and a playoff win (although they were subsequently routed by the Lions.)

So.........does that mean one more year to go?

The 90's team, I remember Madden talking about how it was almost like an all star team, during one game. And heck the NFC Championship between the 9ers that was like an all star game. You just don't have teams in this era with that much talent on both defense and offense.

I agree. Two dominant teams with that much talent will never meet again due to free agency and salary cap restrictions.

I've been nervous since the missed kick in Chicago. Saturday can't come fast enough. I miss when everyone was bashing the team. This is one reason why I would've preferred playing New Orleans this week.

Not fair to compare, but this team is probably closer to the '91 team..... close but not quite ready.

Many thought the 92 team had flaws to going into that SF game especially.
However in hindsight, in comparison this team does have more flaws.

I feel better about this teams defense than the 2014 and 2016 teams. But feel better about those teams offense than this years team. Except for RB.
