The Cowboys have not reached their full potential with the personnel they have now. Hopefully they take a step in that direction again tonight. I truly believe we have a legitimate shot to win this game, maybe even in a bit of a shocking way. I don't think we yet realize how good this team can be. If we play mistake free football, nd get after Goff on defensive, control the tempo, we could win this game handily and we have all the weapons to do just that. It's all a matter of execution.

This team is different. It doesn’t mean they’ll win tonight... but this is a whole new Cowboys team.

In 2016, they started a new group with Dak and Ezekiel, but many older guys like Witten, Carr, Dez, Church, etc. were still there. This group is another story. Almost new from top to bottom.

They have their own story to write. Their own legacy to build. Who is this Cowboys team?

We don’t know yet... but we’re about to start finding out tonight.

first of all lets stop the BS this team the last 5 year or more are so far from embarrassing it aint funny..stop selling short the 3-5 years we won the division, been in the payoffs, and have one true losing season in 2015 due to Romo and Dez plus others down all yr without plan/..

lets gets some perspective we are a top 6 regular season win-loss record team the last 5 years..we got screwed by the refs one year, had elite player making an elite play to win in 2016 doesnt happen 3-5 games..sure we need to break through in the playoffs

CLEVeLAnd is the face of embarrassing along with 16 other teams in the conversation long before you get to us..bad choice of words as the heading..so speak for yourself if you view us as embarrassing...

The muffed snap by Romo, the first #1 seed in NFC history after the 6 seed format was established to not win a single playoff game (2007 vs Giants), the horrific 44-6 beatdown in the win and in game in 2008, 3 straight win and in game losses in week 17 from 2011-2013, the Dez catch in 2014, Rodgers hail mary in 2016. That's a lot of embarrassment in just one decade.

It seems we've been able to do nothing right when it matters for the better part of 2+ decades. The whackiest, most unbelievable things have happened at the most inopportune times. But this team absolutely has a different feel to it. Not carrying the weight of all those failures like Romo and crew were helps a lot with being loose and confident, I think.

Don’t worry is the same guy that says Butler was better and should be our starter and hehas conveniently forgotten that they released Butkef and they were even bribing him back but squashed that idea.

And he forgot this team basically realized how stupid they were for dumping a number 1 WR and had to go out and get Cooper midway through the season.

I do as well, to some degree. But having a somewhat fresh slate with a young roster that isn't carrying the weight of past failures changes things some.

Who's doing the labeling? The same people that think there is some advantage to deflating a football by 1.9 psi? Two playoff wins in 20+ years is nothing to brag about, I'll admit. But going 12-4 and losing away in the second round is nothing to be embarrassed about. The only thing remotely comical about the Cabo trip is that ironically that means it's over in Spanish, but what's embarrassing about it? The fumbled snap and 3 win and in losses weren't embarrassing either. Dallas was an average team those years. We weren't tasting anything all year long in any of those years. I'm pretty sure Dallas was the underdog in all but 2007 and 2016 games.
