1. Couldn't stop the run. Need more talent on the DLine
2. Couldn't pressure Goff. Need more talent on the DLine.
3. Dak was mediocre, needed to be better.
4. Playcalling was not good. Example: Running into a stacked middle on 4th down. Oh, and into what might be the best DLine in the league.
5. Lack of aggression on D. It looked like we were playing prevent the whole game.
6. Lost the battle at the LOS. Both sides of the ball. This one ties in w/ 1 and 2.

There are many smaller reasons, of course, there always are, but these are the biggies.

We got whipped like a dog in the trenches. Schemes on both sides of the ball were bad with vanilla play calling. Dak didn't run. The entire team feeds off the big plays he makes with his legs. Hats off to the Rams. They showed up to play.

We still have weaknesses on DL, S, TE and OL. And while Dak has some great leadership qualities and is a Gamer , too inconsistent. Our offense isn’t explosive enough to hang with teams like the Rams.

Rams: 48 carries, 273 yards, 5.7 yards per rush. You aren't winning a playoff game on the road while allowing 273 rushing yards and getting no takeaways.

The rest are just excuses.

Dak played better than your boy Luck. You still think he’s the best QB in the league? Gurley and CJ played much better than Zeke too.

Mostly correct there KSK.....but when you keep drafting Off-lineman and investing huge Cap dollars there what do you expect when it comes to having a STUD def line?

Offline did the best they could they were playing all game long STOP the Zeke where was our QB to gut them out????
Only After they jumped to a big lead and gave Dak room the threw some nice balls....

Confirmation bias.

Zeke played well, one of the few bright spots.

Yes, confirmation bias that you were wrong my dude. Thinking Zeke provided anything shows your blindness.

You were wrong. It's all good. We will move on from it.

Hopefully this CJ Anderson outclassing Zeke by 10x will put this bull**** thread to rest.

I've proven many wrong in this thread so many times. After this game it should put all of the dummys to rest!!!!!

Did not expect there Oline and CJ Anderson to be that dominant over our front 7. They owned the trenches its that simple played our game against us but a better version .

We did get shafted on the in the grasp call Sheesh in the grasp of our own player That was at least a FG attempt .

We scored TDs and didn't settle for FGs but how many times are you going to run Zeke into the 2 best DTs in football and expect to win on 4th and one . Should have faked it and hit a nice pass would have probably scored they were so sold out on the run .

I agree with all of this but i have seen # 4 (bolded) said alot around here but i wonder if it's because they don't think Dak has the ability to do more

Yep. We need a better defensive line. And we can use an upgrade on the o-line too, because on many Zeke runs, they just got stoned at the LOS and got no movement.

But, actually, our offense IS explosive enough, if they called better plays. Better coaching and coordinators would turn this offense into something to be feared...but with Linehan all but committed to a first down run, and then a Shotgun play on 2nd down (this happens on like 90% of Cowboys drives), it's just too predictable and easy to defend. I could easily defend the Cowboys, it's not rocket science. Zeke is controllable when, by down, and by formation, you KNOW he's getting the ball (oh yeah, let's motion the TE in from the outside and position him over the tackle...and then let's run, and maybe they won't realize it...yeah, right). Linehan is truly pathetic.
