He was outplayed by a clearly superior quarterback.
I'm not sold on that either. From the film breakdown I was watching the other day, they design plays in which their receivers all end up in the same area, to make it easier for him to see them, rather than go through progressions. He may be a better passer than Dak, but I don't know if he'd be any better in this offense than Dak is.

It's not really over -- the Saints need to take care of business tomorrow and take down the Eagles. Watching the Eagles lose will be a consolation prize of sorts.

Interesting point Runny, and I suspect you're right. I was listening to "The Fan" radio program here in Dallas the other day and they were talking about how Garrett envisions "this offense" so to speak like he did the Cowboys offense in the 90s. He's a little behind the times.
If the Rams coach made Goff that much better, I'll bet Garrett could've made him that much worse. JMO

Oh I've been seeing Garrett's philosophy for a long time. He was on those teams that simply imposed their will, even though the other team knew what they were going to do. He thinks that the only strategy to have. Unfortunately, you need the personnel to do it, and that isn't happening in the days of free agency and salary cap.

I definitely hope to see the hated eagles get knocked out. Since we're out of the playoffs now, I'd like to see KC go all the way. That's a fun team to watch, especially with their QB Mahomes.

Jerry will probably blame it all on the water boy and fire him to save Garrett and Linehan.

It's obvious that the Official site's posting of information about the NFC title game jinxed them, and is what caused their collapse.

Well this morning on the NFL Network Michael Irvin let it be known the D had given themselves a nickname “Hot Boyz”.
Good lord I thought these guys are going to get taken down a notch.
Domesday and Domesday 2 were given by the press, just like America’s Team

You’re just jealous cause you have to rely on Dak and not a true passer like Goff. #truth hurts
Goff is a solid young QB but he was 15-28 passing. The rams won this game by dominating the trenches. Congrats but relax on Goff “ carrying the Rams”.

Special shout out to Anthony Hitchens and Orlando Scandrick for finally playing in a conference championship game. Something they would've never sniffed as Dallas Cowboys.

Did Scandrick even play today? Least I heard he had a nice warn spot on the bench.
