This is a tough one. But I think our offense (and Dak) is too reliant on zeke. They think if we just get him the ball he will make it happen.

Too many short yardage plays last night where we thought zeke would get it done alone. The defense sold out and stopped it over and over.

Its nothing against zeke, but when the defense knows that's the one guy to stop but yet we still don't take advantage of that what's the point in having him?

I think we would have had a lot more success last night if we opened it up and threw it more but we have zeke and think he can do everything on his own.

We have too many guys to pay. No matter how good zeke is, you can't pay him top dollar. It's simply not the right strategy in today's nfl to pay a RB top dollar. If you have good blocking and play calling, there are plenty of running backs that can be successful for a lot less money.

Well, did they play like the 32nd ranked defense against the run? They sold out to stop the run, and it worked.
So let me ask you, if you're running game isn't working, what would you do? Would you say, hey, we have a RB who was the 4th overall pick and their defense is ranked 32nd against the run, we have to keep doing this because of where everyone is ranked. It's gonna work sooner or later.

I honestly think Zeke was banged up the last few games. He just didnt run with the same burst or enthusiasm.

I have said this many many times. If THIS FO is serious about being a run first team then they need another good back. Have to take a back in the 3rd or 4th round this year. Need a one two punch. Zeke will be all used up after 5 years at this rate.

They played with 8/9 in the box. Donaldson and Suh are pretty darn good not to mention the other 6/7 guys playing up front to stop the run. How are you going to get 5 guys to block that many? Especially when Donaldson usually has 2 guys on him?
They were begging Dak to beat them and he couldn't.

They were the LAST ranked defense againtsuthe run in the entire league. Every other team was successful with much less at RB. Our O line got man handled, plain and simple. It doesn’t matter what you call when there aren’t holes to run through.

This is why the entire “he’s the best RB in the league because he has the most yards” is ridiculous. There’s so many other reasons for Zeke’s success that have much more to do with other aspects of the offense then himself but everyone wants to talk about how he is our sole reason for success. That guy would be mediocre at best without a very good O line (as most RB’s woud be). Obviously receivers, QB’s and coaching (to a degree) come into play as well.

Me personally? I would have stopped running much sooner. They actually didnt sell out against the run, you're just guessing.

Dak was playing well, while Zeke had a very poor outing. It would have been a super easy choice.

On that 4th and 1 where he got stuffed he completely missed the hole. Went the wrong way. It was a nice size hole. Just sayin.

It's not like he was even bad. He had one play in which he probably should have cut left to make a first down, but other than that, he had no place to go.
