The gap between the 2000 Ravens defense and what we saw last night is the size of the Grand Canyon.

When you allow the most rushing yards your team has ever allowed in a playoff game - and no team has played more playoff games than you - telling the offense to "match scores" is missing what really lost the game.

Defense simply couldn't stop the run and got beat way too much on 3rd down. Simply put, the Rams offense schooled us sideways.

What’s hilarious is BtB pushes a clear narrative and they aren’t even on the payroll.
What that last tweet says is what I've been saying about Dak and any other player for forever. You don't hear folks leading off with he's a winner as the main talents of the top qbs or hell any player in general. You might say they are a winner but there is actual things on the field, court, pitch etc that you can give credit to before naming hard to define intangibles. Think any sport for the truly good players how many do we mainly have to talk about intangibles instead of actual skills first. People might say Bree's, Brady, Lebron, etc are winners but that isn't the main thing folks say when describing them unlike Dak. He's a leader of men flip outta here. He neeeds to be a leader of more accurate balls and to stop playing so scarred.

Yeah then BTB boys are like guys that want to marry the first girl that lets them kiss them. I can't trust them on Dak when one of their host stay wearing a Dak jersey.

You think just the point totals tell the story?

You don’t think the defense having zero sacks, zero turnovers, only forcing one punt and letting the Rams control TOP doesn’t impact our offenses ability to score?

I mean seriously our own teams strategy for years has been to control TOP and limit the opposition offenses chance to score points. Yet, when it’s done to us, some of you all don’t know what you’re looking it.

Look at the points per drive the cowboys scored last night. Would have been good for like 5th in he league this past season.

. But the defense was soooooo bad that the offense had to be perfect to have a chance to win.

  1. Nope I don’t think it tells the whole story at all and didn’t say one of those things in your narrative o
  2. TOP is controlled by the defense AND offense. If the offense gets a bunch of 3 and outs, obviously we are gonna lose in TOP
  3. TOP is affected by offense. If your offense can run and convert 3td downs you’re gonna have a junky Top
  4. You scored 15 points with 6 minutes left in the 4th......that’s not gonna win many games in the NFL
  5. It was a defensive AND offensive loss

Look at these numbers from @percyhoward and you’ll see just how much of a chance our offense had to win the game for us last night.

"250+ rushing yards, 0 turnovers, 0 times sacked, and 1 punt" has only happened four times, and those teams are 4-0.

Teams with "250+ rushing yards, 0 turnovers, and 0 times sacked" are 35-1.

Teams with "250+ rushing yards and 0 turnovers" are 123-6.

Conversely, teams that score 22 points and don't turn the ball over are 22-3 since 2010, 33-7 since 2000, 44-10 since 1970.

So you can all blame Dak and the offense last night if you want to. But the truth is it would have taken a perfect offensive game to win last night. Considering how bad the defense played.

Mahomes calmly glides in the pocket, keeps his eyes on the receivers and delivers. Dak spins right, turns his back on the receivers, and has to reset.

Sounds like a chiefs fan in training.

Good luck to you on your new adventure. :)

It’s all good bro...we are just gonna have to be on opposite sides of this one.

But I still do blame the defense, I just blame the offense equally.

Yeah it’s all good bro.

The offense hasn’t been good in many games this season dude. No doubt about that. We aren’t in the playoffs period without the defense balling out all season.

But man I don’t think Tom Brady or Peyton Manning win that game last night. Everything else being the same.
