Im already disappointed Linehan hasn’t been fired yet. But, i think he will be. And the first guy that should be in Dallas is Gary Kubiak.

But what the hell happened to the defense yesterday? Ill tell you what happened, The team didnt do what teams do to them...LOAD THE BOX. Put your CBs in man and force Goff to beat you. When Dallas was in man Goff was bad, then Dallas switched to zone and all of the sudden them inside routes started working. Marinelli and Richards got destroyed by a motion presnap. They had no answer for the movement that took the defense off balance to one side.

I want to know why they continued to line up the DTs on the outside shoulder of the guards on virtually every play. That allowed it to be a simple double on the NT. Because if youre lined up on the outside shoulder ur not going to cross the Guard to go inside. Made it easy for the double to take Woods out of the play because he was already going outside and the run went right to where there was nobody but LVE who couldnt get off the block. Vander hasnt been the same since that ankle injury. Rams didnt fear any 3tech Dallas inserted.

On offense we saw who leader and face of this team is..Its not the elliot, its not the defense. Its Dak Prescott's team. Elliot was a non factor all night, it was Dak who kept them in it until the defense gave it up. Dak found the open guy and took what they gave him. Those that think Dak isnt a franchise QB have no clue what one is. Goff was missing throws you arm chair GMs bash Dak for. But called it a throw away lol.

Dallas needs to do some work in the offseason but nothing too drastic. This is a very good young football team.

Yep these Dak haters want to say Dak missed wide open receivers and they rather have Goff but don't want to mention the wide open receiver in the end zone that Goff missed. It's criticize Dak on every throw but other QBs it's not the same. I said it before Dak is the most important part on the team and without him we would have been blown out. Dak, Cooper, Gallup and Brown were they only ones who showed up.

I think the D was beat up. Lawrence, Collins, Crawford, Woods, LVE, Brown, were all well below 100% and LA was coming off a bye. The offense was beat up too. I think what we saw Saturday night was what happens when you dig a 3-5 hole and basically have to win out in order to take the division. Plus this team essentially had to take every game during that stretch right down to the wire when they should have put many of those games away much earlier.

Bottom line, there’s a reason most of the team the 1’s and 2’s make it to conference championship weekend. What happens in the reg season is just so critical. Dallas is stuck in a bad spot of not getting a top 2 seed, yet having to play a first place schedule where they will see NO and LA next year no matter what. So odds are they won’t get a 1 or 2 seed next year and probably won’t make the playoffs either if history is any indication.

I dont always disagree with them on Dak when he's bad, but yesterday was not one of them days. Dak was the only reason they were in it.

Which throw did Goff miss? The one in the back corner of the EZ?

Without dak yes Dallas gets blown out the rams game. Its opposite almost every other game this season minus maybe 4 though.

With what Dallas has and add in around 70mil in cap space you can bet Dallas will be one of the teams to beat next yr. Dallas hasnt had this kind of flexibility since basically before the salary cap

I couldn't have explained it better.

Kudos. You nailed it.

The cap space is nice and rare to have but I'm not expeting and big fa's brought in. It'll be pretty much the same team next year.

Well, it’s 6 of one, half dozen of the other. Dak did rally them back into the game. But he also went cold in the middle of the game and put up 0 points in a 30 game minute stretch. Dak has done that all year long. Go MIA in the middle of the game then play great in the 4th to overcome that and often win. The opponent was too good though on Saturday night. We needed 60 minutes of good play from Dak and not just 30.

I hope you’re right. Unfortunately I think that cap space is going to mostly go to keeping players already on the roster, not adding more elite players to the existing group. So I think the guys we have now will be the guys we roll with going forward. I don’t see a scenario where this team adds a Suh type player like LA did. I think Amari was that guy for us.

How can you attribute 30 wasted minutes on Dak when it was the Rams on the field controlling the clock with their running game all game long?

I like Richard, but still, think we should interview other potential DC candidates. It's been clear to me for year RM needs to go.
I agree. I’m a firm believer that if you want to stop the run at this level, you can. It may leave you extremely vulnerable elsewhere but on Saturday it got to the point that they should said we’re stopping the run no matter what and if you torch us, you torch us. They also should have solved that jet sweep after the 2nd time it hurt them.

Dak, Cooper, Byron all have their cap numbers accounted for in 2019. Extensions for them wont go into effect until 2020 when Dallas will have around 113mil in cap room.

I wouldnt want a player like Suh on the team.

I think Dallas needs in FA
Earl Thomas S
Jesse James TE

The rest id hope they would do in the draft. This is a big YR for DT.

Solving that requires in game adjustments. This staff can't make them. We go in with one single plan and if it doesn't work, we are screwed. We won't change anything.

I'm not going to blow up your thread with Dak talk but since it's been brought up already I have to ask this one question before I turn in.

Just how the Hell did Dak keep us from getting blown out? He only managed two scores in 57 minutes while being under little pressure from the Rams D while they focused on stopping Zeke. How is that keeping us from getting blown out?

How can I attribute it to Dak? Because his offense was ripping off two 3 & outs, one 4 & out, plus two other scoreless possessions during that stretch. This isn’t “make it, take it” where the Rams got to score then get the ball right back. Dallas could have answered with long scoring drives of their own and it could have been a 10-6 game at half instead of 20-7. Every expert I saw predicted LA would put up around 30 in that game. They average 37 in that building. I’m disappointed that the D let LA run with so much success but I’m just as disappointed that our offense disappeared for so long in a game where it was clear they couldn’t afford to do so.

Maybe tell the defense to make a stop and not let these time consuming drives suck the life out of the game. They gave our offense zero room for error. Dak wasn't perfect but how in the world are people just brushing off this god awful putrid effort from this defense? It started from the opening drive and never stopped. That's high school level stuff you see. Where teams just gash the other with no mercy shown.

Defense had a chance early to make a statement. We went up 7-3. Were hyped up. Defense gets the Rams into a 3rd and 10. And what do they do? Allow an easy 9 yard completion. Then they easily get the 1st down on 4th with a sneak. It's like they weren't even prepared for a sneak. Also, this OL and run game for us was horrendous. A huge letdown. Our offense is based on the OL and Zeke and they did nada. But yes, it's always Dak's fault...

I still don’t see any big splash free agents coming. I hope I’m wrong.
