It’s good in a sense because it could mean a new OC

But it’s a terrible look for this head coach. It doesn’t quiet the whole Coach is a puppet narrative. Thats for true.

Exactly, its kind of comical how far people are going to make this into a controversy.

Garrett said "Blah Blah happy happy"

Stephen Jones said "We are evaluating our options"

Garrett said "Yeah, what he said".

All of this within 40 hours of the team walking off the field in LA.
They want a soap opera. They need payback for a loss!!! Seriously, I post like I would talk to folks in person. Some of the hatred and BS fans here spew is kind of embarrassing.

Maybe JG didn't know different, maybe he did forget, maybe he was told to keep quiet....who knows? And what is the big deal? Do fans want Linehan to stay?

This all happens today:

Garrett said Linehan would not be going anywhere.

Later Stephen said no decisions have been made and that Garrett needs to shut his dirty little mouth.

Then suddenly Garrett conveys that he has momentary amnesia and doesn't remember what he said this morning while backpedaling faster than Lance Armstrong pedaling forward and indeed shuts his dirty lil mouth.

Dysfunction 101: The Dallas Cowboys front office. .

Jerry loves puppets.
Stephen eats puppets for breakfast.
Dance puppet dance.

Wait, I was just told an hour ago that Linehan was a lock to return because of what Garrett said 12 hours after the playoff loss.

This has to change:

The Cowboys gained just 308 total yards in their 30-22 NFC Divisional Round defeat to the Los Angeles Rams. Their general offensive futility was a theme throughout the year.

Dallas averaged 343.8 yards per game (22nd) and ranked 24th in offensive efficiency, per Football Outsiders. The arrival of Amari Cooper provided a momentary boost, but the effect faded toward the end of the regular season and into the playoffs.

They'll figure out just how, as they go through after action analysis...

At this point what do you really expect?

I think the staff should be very nervous until after the SB.

It would not surprise me JJ releases some big news 24 hours before the big game
so Dallas would be a topic of conversion during all the pregame stuff.

Yeah. He just got the news. They haven’t had a “meeting” yet but Linehan will soon be gone. And his buddy Moore also.

Do it now and get a updated playbook out to the Offense. Get a better QB coach for Dak. With some help Dak could take the next step. Then let’s see what we have. I wouldn’t extend any contracts until the rookie deals are done. That goes for Dak and Elliot and JG...

Ochoa is clickbaiting at BTB, this is what is the DC.com site about Garrett's original comments. There is nothing definite in his comments -

“We don’t anticipate any significant changes on our staff,” Garrett said, adding that the team is still in evaluation mode less than two days after its divisional-round playoff loss to the L.A. Rams.
