So if hyperbole bothers you no matter which side it comes from and how come you aren’t voicing your displeasure in all the obviously over the top pro Dak threads that pop up on this board dozens of times a day

lol - hyperbole. That's what you call nonsense, childishness and silly imagined internet drama? This is more like young kids going back and saying "you're stupid", "no you're stupid", "well you were stupid first", and on and on. And look at what you just wrote. Just more of the same - trying to justify juvenile behavior and false or exaggerated comments by saying "they do it too". It's laughable how much this sounds like my 6 year old granddaughter when she gets in trouble. Adults combat illogical comments with a reasoned argument, not by acting like school children.

The reality is a lot of fans aren't on board with Dak, but people don't respond to most of them the same way as with Pappy because they at least attempt to use facts and reason as the primary basis for what they say, and because they don't find a nonsensical way to force their rhetoric about Dak into every conversation whether it has to do with the QB position, the Defensive Coordinator, the towel boy or the price of a beer in ATT Stadium. And also because they don't resort to the silly "no, you're stupid" style of posting when people express a different opinion.

And there are fans who can make valid criticisms or have valid questions about Dak's weaknesses and parts of the game is needs to improve on. Then there is those who call anyone who doesn't just view Dak as trash or who doesn't hate him, as " Dak a Zoids" "Dak Slobbers" or resort to calling others "Sniffers" for not being as down on Dak, as they are.

HA! Posting a video from 2 months ago to prove your point. :lmao2:

Wasn't even an insightful video. Cowherd is clearly self-absorbed and doesn't listen to talk around him at all. DA VOICES in his head. ALWAYS.

I'm a big Foles fan, but Dak was better last weekend. Dak had a few 3rd down incompletions. Foles had a few interceptions. Not saying Foles isn't a starting quarterback somewhere. He definitely is. But just like anyone... when a defense gets too tough, he can be stopped. Same goes for Dak. Or anyone for that matter.

Really high level? Did you watch both playoff games?

The reality is Foles gets a lot of mileage out of having had outstanding games in the NFCCG and Super Bowl last year, but otherwise he's been a QB much like Dak - pretty solid with a few weak games and a few outstanding games mixed in - but without the benefit of being able to make things happen with his legs.

Foles is playing at a really high level.
That being said.... it isn’t going to happen. There is 0% chance the cowboys are signing Foles.

So discussing it is fruitless.

I would love to see Foles start and play a full season , so that the real Foles stand up..lol
If they had faith in Foles as the starter ,they wouldn't have bench him for Wentz, when he wasnt 100% and struggling.

Yea, get rid of Dak even though he had this team in the game with a chance to tie if the defense could get a stop at the very end.

Dak needs to convert every 3rd and 10, when 1st down runs are for 1-2 yards, play defense because he is responsible for allowing 280 yards rushing, and not get tackled by his own lineman.

Dak missed on maybe 4 throws the entire game. Maybe the Colts should get rid of Andrew Luck with his 19/36 200 yard performance.

That's truth.

LMAO.. Dak is our QB. Get use to it or find another team.

Well then get use to losing.

You act like making a statement like this, is a good thing. "Dak is our QB, get use to it"

Like I said I hope you get use to losing. I will keep this quote and come find you after every game and season.

You better stay happy

I can't imagine the backlash Dak would receive if the Cowboys went up 14-0 in the first quarter, then he threw two interceptions, scored 0 points in the other 3 quarters and lost the game.

I would like to think of myself as pretty levelheaded, but I believe I would start a "Dak needs to go" thread if that happened.

And LOL at the OP who obviously does not have an objective bone in his/her body when it comes to Dak Prescott.

Way to firmly stick foot-in-mouth buddy.

It's obvious that they don't even watch other games. I saw an Andrew Luck that played awful, and the week before Deshaun Watson was terrible as well.

Somehow, there are people on here that think Teddy Bridgewater is the answer.

lmao foles? Dak isn't the reason we lost. The rams are. When you can shut down the run and THEN run for 10 yards a pop all night, you should win. They deserve it and we need to stop pointing fingers. We have work to do in the trenches in the offseason. It was woeful.

Dak is the reason this team didn’t have home field in the playoffs. And yes the D couldn’t stop the run but Dak was missing plays the entire game also. Everyone wants to fix the Defense. But what about fixing the QB play. It’s not like this happen a couple of times. It’s been like this all’seaso and all last season. He shouldn’t be paid a big contract. I want more from my QB. It looked like Zeke and several other players were getting annoyed with his throws.

I give credit to Foles for what he did to the Eagles. But, the facts are that with inferior offensive systems/playcalling and/or with inferior coaching, he hasn't been nearly as successful with any other team that the Eagles. But, you don't believe coaching and playcalling can make a difference in a QB's career. Foles hasn't proven to be consistently great or take any team to the playoffs, besides Philly.

Linehan/Garrett couldn't use the best of Romo or Dak to get past the divisional round of the playoff, but I'm supposed to believe they will become geniuses with Foles and be able to use him on the same level Philly is able to.

I think with Foles under center and no other changes, we beat the Rams. You may disagree and that’s fine but I truly believe that

I use mostly facts/stats etc in my criticism of Dak and have been told dozens of times that I’m a “hater” and to “find another team”

Been treated the same way as Pappy for trying to express legitimate concerns. Why even try?

Get use to losing with Dak as QB? You realize Dak has never had a losing season since entering the league and has the second most wins by any QB in that stretch. He has won the division 2 out of 3 years.
