Any reason to believe Dak era will surpass Romo era?

I don't think Romo ever had 3 consecutive seasons finishing above 8-8. I'm not counting 2015 for a variety of reasons. Dak has done that, the next step for him would be to overcome the severe limitations of this roster and coaching staff to get past the divisional round.

No it’s not. It’s criticism #1 for most. It encompasses his inaccurate throws to wide open WRs, his lack of vision to find open WRs, and his deficiencies in the red zone.
He’s not inaccurate in the second half of games. He misses receivers 2 or 3 times a game just like most quarterbacks but for some reason because he’s Dak it gets overblown.

The team is drafting much better with Jerry out of the picture, so it's all on Dak. He's got to work every day on improving his mechanics & footwork, which is terrible far too often. That's it. If he improves in those two areas, his accuracy will improve. To what extent is anyone's guess. If not, we'll be looking for another QB in a few years.

if your bar as a team is to surpass what tony romo did then your bar is not very high the one u want to try to get close to is aikman or Staubach tony is kinda like our head coach he was okay during the regular season but when it comes to the playoffs he was not very good had lots of chances but was just never good enough to get over the hump

When you fail to make a point....blame everyone’s comprehension skills to deflect from your nonpoint lol.
Maybe you're stupid but it's clear as day I posted I don't care how they win awhile ago and you responded to that post number 72. Like I said maybe you're just stupid.

07-09. If you want, we can also count 06 since he became the starter with a team that was 3-3

He very well could but if that were to happen is because we`d have much better teams than what we had with Romo.
I think most everybody would agree that Romo was a better QB than Dak (at least now), this is a team game so if we have great teams with better coachoing then yeah, Dak can get to a NFCCG or even a SB.

I didn’t realize the 1st half doesn’t matter.

So what are you rambling about? Why are you even replying to me? I said I don’t care how they win and you don’t care how they win. Are you too stupid to realize we said they same thing?

Overall he was a better qb but it’s not close when it comes to making plays in the 4th quarter.

The problem is that it becomes tougher from here. The time to win with a guy like Dak is when he’s still on his rookie contract. Once you have to start paying him real money it becomes difficult to surround him with the help he needs.

It depends on what you mean by "surpass."

If you mean win a few more wild card games than in the Romo era then sure, the team is drafting better and doing fewer suicidal Joey Galloway/Roy Williams trades. The overall quality of the team will probably be higher than like 2010-2013 or whatever.

If you mean "championships" then not while Garrett is still here.

Need I remind you that Tony led the league in QB rating and comebacks in the 4th quarter during most of his tenure in the NFL?

Anyway, this is about the team, not Romo vs Dak, with good enough teams and coaching Dak can take us further than where Tony took us, that in no way says that Tony couldn`t have done it, he just didn`t have good enough teams around him.
