Yeah, its how you know these guys make too much money.

Proof these guys make too much money.

They don't make too much money. The NFL makes too much money. I'm fine with the players being well-paid under those conditions.

But I hope he's smarter than that with the bulk of his money because careers usually end a lot sooner than life.

yes worried. Why is it dumb? He has the means for this and like somebody said thats things arent oing to be overly expensive because theyre not using the best diamonds. All athletes and celebrities do things like this. Thats people with regular 9-5 are envious about. Envy turns to hate real quick when u have a judgmental personality.

Anyways i said my peice on this, have fun talkin about it.
Come on man, hate? It's not hate when there is a good reason for calling it dumb. I'm sure a lot of people can be frivolous with their money. And the point is, plenty of athletes have the means to buy whatever they want but plenty of them also end up broke because they make bad decisions. You're right, we really don't know what this costs but this certainly looks like the poster child of bad spending.

True, but amari doesnt fit in that mold. He's not a guy who is out wasting his money the way most do. He bought something for himself. Amari spends his time to doin charity work in the dallas area, and still does it out here in cali too with Crabtree. Cooper even has a book club with kids that he likes to keep under the radar. The guy is a smart guy and a responsible one. Some of you just need to stay in your own lives for a change.

True story: I work with a guy who is a big time gamer. He also financially supports a girlfriend that likes to live outside her means. When I told him that I bought Red Dead Redemption 2, I got " Ohhh it must be nice to be able to afford buying a game at full price" and " Some of us have too many responsibilities to pay that much for a video game".

I told him a few weeks ago the game is great and my heat is still on.

It happens on a much smaller scale too. In relation to what we make, it wouldn't shock me if him buying that chain takes up the same percentage of his income as me buying that game

Agreed. But how much would it cost to use all quality diamonds on that thing? I would think it would be a fortune.
I used to peddle in Diamonds. You could buy a lot of diamonds just like those shown, low clarity, scraps, not worthy of any center cut pieces, for like $1500-$2000, then pay someone $1500 or so make it. Not that spectacular. Now if it were all made of high clarity, center cut worthy diamonds? It would be worth $250,000 plus. But it's not. Still a neat gift though and still not something an every day Joe would pay to have.

I bet the piece is not solid. And the numbers look like they painted the blue on. Should have used blue diamonds.

I read somewhere earlier that is was $65k. Be nice to have that kind of cash to throw around on jewelry.

Edit
According to TMZ:

"We're told the jersey -- valued at $65k -- was part of Cooper's recent bling haul, complete with a 45-carat Cuban chain and 15-carat bracelet ... worth $140k total!!"

Years ago, while working for task force 157, we were taught to never put anything around your neck that can be used to strangle you. Clip on ties only. However , diamonds are a very good investment.
I work with equipment all day I wear no jewelry saw a guy jump down out of a semi and snag his wedding band on the vent window latch . Tore his finger off . It left a lasting impression on me . Winchesters are a great investment LOL

The bigger the bling, the smaller the brain.

Jewelry is the greatest con of all time.

Meanwhile, he's going to be stepping up to the pay window with his agent looking for as much more money as he can get in his next contract, to waste on crap like this. Money that ultimately comes out of every fans' pockets. But sure, defend stupidity, his, and by extension, yours.

Ah, to be young and dumb. Remember a player in the NBA getting something similar several years back that was a rendition of himself. I will go find it.

Edit: found it.
