It's not like the defense did that all season. Look, the defense was down on the ground, reaching out to Dak for a little help, dak failed, leaving his fellow men to bleed out.
Please stop. You sound like a child. Dak didnt fail. If you want to blame a single player, why arent you blaming Zeke for only gaining 40 something yards on the ground? Dak did his job. Dropped a dime to Gallup, threw a perfect pass to cooper. Tell me, without Dak getting Zeke to the 2 yard line, what happens? Just stop it. You sound ridiculous.

Zeke had 40 something yards because they sold out to stop the run which in theory yalls savior should've ate that up but outside a few games which he gets credit for he didn't.

I cannot divulge. I have a couple buds that work in and around the facility ,training room and they called me.Saints facility that is, not Dallas.
No offense but why attention bore if you can't give out the details?

I would understand that though. Younger guy with a GREAT reputation around the league and is known as a top notch QB coach, maybe the best. Plus...hey...his grandfather was Vince Lombardi lol...so that's kinda cool.
Good point and makes sense. I'm on board with this type of change 100%.

My guess - Dan Campbell

As someone has probably already noted in the 5 pages of posts, that guess makes too much sense....

Someone Red has worked with, someone Red has explicitly stated he has great regard for, and someone who by implication is still very much working.

And maybe if that's been said, this also has been said...

Perhaps a takeaway of this season is that they felt so good about the addition of Richard as a quasi-coordinator, they're thinking they'd like to make the same kind of addition to the offensive side.

Detroit fired their OC? Why not, you see how well the other Detroit retreads on the staff do...

you don't want Jim Bob Cooter. He had Stafford and failed...so...PASS. maybe IF we fail to land anyone else...then ok.

I hope not.

Dan Campbell is not going to add a thing to our offensive schemes and play designs.

He's just another rah rah intangible guy.

Oh Catch, I don't know. Listen, Dan Campbell is the guy who actually taught Witten how to be a Pro Tight End. I think Campbell has a lot he can offer but is it what the team is looking for, that I don't know.

Dan Campbell obviously would be our new OC in conjunction with input from Lombardi. Sounds like Garrett is getting more powers stripped away from him each year. Very telling.

Well, first, it has to happen just as theorized.

And second, it is just as plausible that it's as Jones and Garrett have both said it publicly... they get together, and they make decisions together according to the consensus.

And third, again... Garrett's close to Linehan, obviously, but he's also close to Campbell, so it's not like Jones & Son are stripping away anything necessarily. It could even have been Garrett's idea, for that matter.

And fourth... again... I submit to you that it's plausible that the experience with Richard just persuaded them that they like that model, having a quasi-coordinator to add to the game planning and scheming mix... ie, as someone else suggested earlier this week, a role as "passing game coordinator," or for that matter, a "running game coordinator."
