If it was that bad then I wonder why players didn’t go to JJ. He is a players owner that says his door is always open to his players. Now we are “hearing” that JG wanted him gone last year. Maybe that’s why JJ gave Linehan more input into the Offense. Kind of like here is enough rope to hang yourself with.

Dez was telling anyone that would listen.

So when Dez said it, he was a cancer. But now the Dak homers are looking for excuses, so now inside sources regarding Linehan are ‘true’. Where weee these ‘inside sources’ when Dez was done the way he was done by this organization, including Garrett
Dak is the guy that said they didn’t need a number 1 in the off-season also. Dez specifically called out GARRETT guys, which included Linehan.

This organization is a joke.

I'm pretty sure "most" of the players like Garrett as a person, no sure about all but it's pretty damning some of the stuff we are hearing/seeing from former guys and these type reports about Linnehan. Sounds like he could've been more of an issue than I thought. They are too loyal to some of these coaches I think...

I don't think you understand "how to use quotes". Lol

One more time:

Dez called out GARRETT GUYS and used that term specifically and including Linehan in them.

And people keep using the Giants game as some benchmark that more input was added into the offense from the coaches. No it was not. The only reason they experimented is because Zeke was OUT for the game and they were clearly going heavy pass to give Dak work, which is why they played him the whole game.

It’s convenient Garrett homers are throwing these generalizations out there, while ignoring how awful the offense was against the Colts and Tampa Bay even if you use the over-rated Giants game performance as some sort of benchmark.

Such a simple wrinkle had our TE Jarwin open for 3 TDs in one game and had the opposing defense guessing. To bad we didn’t do it in the rams game. Something so simple made our supposed weakness position going smooth.

They weren’t any wrinkles. Two of the TDs were basic post routes by Jarwin that the Giants secondary blew coverage on leaving him open and Dak had really good blocking on them.

“Slimey creature” is tough talk. What exactly is Garrett responsible for here? And what should he be doing differently exactly?

I came tithus thread for anonymous player parting shots. What am I missing?
Same thing you've been missing for the entire Garrett era.
There have been media stories saying Garrett wanted Linehan out last year and Garrett actually took the offense away from Linehan earlier this year. Who in the world do you think is putting those stories out? Have you ever noticed how fawning the mainstream Dallas sports media is towards Garrett? Do you remember the Baltimore Ravens saying after they interviewed Garrett hehshould be a politician? Do you know how Wade Phillips feels about Jason Garrett? Wade ultimately failed here as a head coach but he's a respected football man I would love to hear his anonymous quotes about Garrett.
How many coordinators and assistants have to be hired and fired during the Garrett era? What does this walk around coach actually do besides give canned speeches? The idiot was saying last week that would be no coaching staff changes and now suddenly this week he wanted Linehan gone last year.
Jason Garrett is about one thing, Jason Garrett

Anonymous = gutless.

Stand by your words or shut the hell up.

IDK Geno, kinda like you can trash your own family but get pixxed when someone else does it. The truth is they've not said anything different from what we've heard from 99.9% of fans and media.

So, it’s youre interpretation from a bunch of different stories you heard or read. Interesting.

I don’t think we’ve had a lot of staff turnover relative to other teams during the Garrett years. I could be wrong, though.

Wade’s autobiography “Son of a Bum” has some interesting takes on Garrett, especially that call against the Commanders where Choice fumbled it.

Yes interesting. Like your unfounded post that Cole Beasley is one of the anonymous players. guess it's okay to throw the players under the bus but never Jason Garrett

It’s obvious to anyone Linehan was going to be the scapegoat. The name was being pushed out there heavily when Jason was on the hot seat halfway through the season and everybody was saying the Cowboys were idiots for letting Dez go. And the media continued with this push where everybody started ignoring Jason, while blaming Linehan more and more

Of course the media consistently ignores the fact that guys like Dooley and Linehan were all Garrett guys. So Garrett consistently marketed as a genius for brining in guys like Kiffen, Dooley, Linehan and others, but when they all ‘fail’, it’s as if the media suddenly forgets all this.

They are now throwing out names like the TE coach and Moore as having input in the offense, when these were guys brought in by Linehan. Clearly the media knows most Dallas fans are clueless, because they are buying this dumb story as if Linehan would not listen to input from guys he himself brought in.

Bye Felinehan ..

Despite a quarterback who is at least above-average in Dak Prescott and arguably the best running back in the game in Ezekiel Elliott, Dallas had one of the most simplistic and uncreative offenses in the NFL.

After Linehan was axed after four seasons guiding the Cowboys offense, several anonymous Cowboys players said he added "nothing" to the offense.

Harsh? Well, not really.

Even with the midseason kick in the butt Amari Cooper provided, Dallas was a below-average offense. They ranked 22nd in points scored, 22nd in total yards, and 23rd in passing yards. Despite having Elliott in the backfield, they just barely cracked the top 10 in rushing yards.

With Linehan finally gone, we will finally get to see what Prescott will look like in a more creative, innovative offense.

You know what to do:
www.12up.com/posts/6274788-multiple-anonymous-cowboys-take-parting-shot-at-fired-oc-scott-linehan

people are going to find out real quick about Dak, no more excuses.

And if the players felt Linehan brought nothing you can thank JG for allowing this to continue over several years and it looked like he was going to let it continue this year
