Kitna to be QB coach, Moore leading candidate for OC

The people that “bring it to me” are the ones that won’t stop whining.

No, the people that "bring it to you" are those making the decisions that have resulted in no championshïp apearances in 20+ years. But you'll let them off the hook and go after people with higher standards. That's your issue not theirs.

Bad things happen in life. We get over it. Those who insist in wallowing in misery alternate between boring and annoying.

And this is somehow "life"? Sounds like you need a reality check. You're not being "positive" you're being willfully naive.

I think everyone is missing the point.

There is a very good reason NOT to go outside the organization for the OC hire. This tells me that Jerry does not plan to extend Garrett, and will let him play for his job in 2019. If that’s the case, no outside coach is going to take an OC position that is likely a one year deal.

The plan seems to be: promote from within and give this entire staff one year to make some noise with a very talented roster. If the team doesn’t at least get to the NFC Championship game next year, the whole lot are gone.

Even if he gave an extension to Garrett would you come here as an OC given the fact at the first sign of trouble you could be made the scapegoat for the team’s failures?

Some might but my gut would say the more established guys would want no part of this.

Notice the tweet put in the OP, whether accurate or not, claimed Moore is a leading candidate, but the title of the thread just said “Moore leading candidate for OC”. The “a” is important. As it is many took this thread to be saying Moore was the top candidate and was almost certain to get the OC job. This is the same kind of trick the media uses to suck in readers. It obviously works.

Can we get an actuary to weigh in and tell us how much longer we can expect to be putting up with Jerry?

Oh holy h-e-double hockeysticks, this would be a complete Jerry move. From 2nd string QB to QB coach to OC within three years. And we thought Garrett didn't have enough experience.

That's called "fast track" in my company...promoting kool aid drinking imbeciles...its all politics.

Simple fact is nobody on this board knows if he will be a great OC or horrible. No point arguing about it until we see. I know that's not how things work around here though.

Sure, none of us have a crystal ball, but it is fair to ask whether promoting the right hand man of the offensive coordinator you just fired – who spent his entire 6-year NFL career as a player and then coach under that failed offensive coordinator – is the right move to fix this team's offensive woes.

You know what? Your erroneous “analysis” gave me a chuckle. Thanks!

This gives all the overreacting Chicken Littles something to fill their time fussing over. Also, the deadly serious, “I know more than the anyone in the FO” crowd will undoubtedly start pontificating...

If Brady wanted to coach, Jerry wouls hire him as QB coach and Moore would still be the OC.

I figured Kitna with come in as Coordinator when I read the words “Dallas Brings In Ex QB Kitna...”

It is absolutely fair to question. We’re talking about Jerry here. Any decision he makes is fair to question.
What is aggravating to several is the absolute certainty by so many on here that Moore will be a disaster as OC if indeed he gets the job.
