Nantz and Romo are definitely the best tandem in the booth right now and I am not sure it is even close. I actually enjoy their games as opposed to pretty much all the others, Buck and Aikman included.

Romo has truly showcased his football knowledge, & play/formation reading acumen. I wouldn't be surprised at all, if multiple owners approach him at some time about coaching. Would be tough to give up the cake job of commentating. Easy money, & can be super long term. Be a big risk to switch, & try his hand at being a coach.

My opinion is, he loves to be challenged. He is a perfectionist and highly talented, with a genius level intellect. I would be shocked if he did not want to coach now this moment. I think he will enjoy his kids a half dozen more years, or so, and then he will coach. And he will be very good. Considering Jerry's admirable allegiance to people he has worked with, I am guessing Dallas will be Romo's first choice. So 2025.
