we have one of the worst FOs in the league. I have a feeling that Stephen is another Jerry in that he wants all this control

The Rams were aggressive in FA and it has worked out for them. We need to make moves and not just stay put because we like our guys. Hopefully we can get a real safety.

The Apple fell a fair distance from the tree. He has an entirely different management style than does Jerry. One better suited for nfl success.

Free agency works.

SEE: The Rams

Thanks, a Cowboy fan tired of not contending for championships.

P.S. Maybe don't schedule the Jones' familia's vacation in March this year. The Bahamas will still be there in May.
We did contend two out of the last three seasons.

Exactly. The Rams were a playoff team last year and didn’t sit on their hands in the off season. They went for it. Dallas has the cap space to sign some free agents and their own. Let’s see how committed the Jones’s are to winning this off season. Talk is cheap

Jones is not signing any free agents unless they are over 35...

If you don't make the conference championship game, you aren't contending for a Super Bowl championship. If you are happy with being division champs, followed by a wildcard weekend win, then you set a very low bar sir or madam.

You can't make either of those games without making the playoffs. Everyone has a shot once in the tournament.

Their biggest additions were via trade and the waiver wire, not offseason free agency.

They tried for watkins. Thank goodness they failed.

I think they will make a run at earl or the giants safety.

Hard pass on an expensive 1-legged safety who just snapped his leg again and flipped off fans on his way off the field. Not to mention he's old.

No meaningful fas will be brought in this offseason.
Itll be the same starters next year. Beasley might be gone but that's about it.

Other then say thomas and or Jesse James what else do they need? But since they already said TE is priority in the draft that leaves S. i dont think any S in this draft beats out Heath or Woods that they can get starting at 54, but probably later as they probably use 54 for a te.

A team should still build primarily through the draft. Free agency comes in for a few specific needs, but you can't build a team through free agency because you'll run out of salary cap money. But if you build a good team in the draft and you have a couple spots of need, free agency can work. The Cowboys did make a smart free agency move with Amari Cooper. That was a calculated risk that was not guaranteed to work out, but it did.
