Kellen Moore is as “proven” as any other young OC candidate we could get would be. Anyone with any degree of success as a playcaller is getting a HC job as every franchise looks for the next McVay.

Kellen Moore will be an NFL HC this time next year if our offense improves significantly. That’s just how it’s going these days.

It's good that he respects him. I was hoping to hear more about bringing his college scheme here instead of adapting to our (The Garrett) scheme.

LOL...…….Se he is OC ready because he created ONE play? We need an entire new scheme.

I don't think its anything personal against Moore. Its just that Moore means MORE Garrett. Its NOT like they are going to hand over the play calling duties and scheme change duties to Moore off the bat. This will be another 3 year process. Bring in a REAL OC and let the kid learn from ANOTHER good mind. In 3 or 4 years promote him. Simple simple stuff.

The one thing I do know is that people who know a lot more about the game than I do have been high on his football mind going back to college. That's why they hired him as the QBC and the first step to having an effective OC is a healthy relationship with the trigger man. Can't hurt having the leader of that OL in his corner either.

The first step to success is the offense buy in to the OC because they want him to succeed, he was once one of them.
