What Happened to Cowboys Fans?

The sad part is nobody tackled and Garrett only managed 7 points.
I know. I wouldn't be upset that the NFC lost if they actually scored points but their offense looked like the Cowboys offense for a good part of the season.

I blame the Millennials.

In fairness Millennials have not experienced Dallas winning past 1st round of playoffs yet. So their perspective will be completely different than those who watched multiple SB winning Cowboy teams.

Saddens me to see threads like "what happened to cowboy fans" or "our offense will improve next year without any upgrade" or "are we ok at TE"
Should have kept the fans out of it and instead asked "What has happened to the Cowboys?" The organization used to stand for excellence. Instead now they are a training ground for new coaches and mediocrity.

I wawas defending the game.
In your defense, it used to be a game worth defending. I'll never forget watching Sean Taylor lay out the punter on a fake punt. LAID. HIM. OUT. He would probably get a six game suspension if he did that in yesterday's Powder Puff Bowl.

I watched, literally, 3 minutes of yesterday's game and said "Nope. That's not football". That was a sickening display of "Put on my helmet and cream puff my way through the next three hours".

We use to be one of the most intelligent fan bases in the NFL. Now we hang off of every word of the media's click bait that is purposely targeting our uniformed response.
Cowboys fans used to extremely high expectations too, but that is not the case now. At one time, over 50% of NFL fans identified as Cowboy fans and the Cowboys merchandise sold was more than all of the other teams combined. Everything has changed now.

Great question. I just read a thread on here which gives credibility to Terrell Owens opinion. The man can barely read, and now his opinion matters to cowboys fans? This board is going a little crazy.

Not really. The Cowboys still outsell every other team in the NFL, which is amazing considering the lack of success over the last 20+ years

The negative tend to be the most outspoken, so when you get a few of them shouting mindless drivel, the mob mentality takes effect, and others who normally wouldn't have that point of view are swayed to light their torches and grab their pitchforks.

* so sad,yet oh so true*o_O

That's exactly why the NFC only got 7 points. They were running plays that would have gone for more YAC, had the officials not blown the plays dead at first contact.

It's been 23+ years if nothing. If its come down to clickbait being our joy then let us enjoy it.

There is no fun in sucking for years and being intelligent at the same time.

Well, from one uninformed, lackless fan, anyone else notice how the fact garrett avoided talking to the media ALL week is now the subject of discussion?? As is, there is no "rule" saying the coaches have to talk to media during the PB game. but I'll bet you $$ right here, they will now make it a rule starting next year. How dumb is that, course he is probably STILL wiping JjJ's hand print off his little tushkie

Go and read some of the other NFL teams websites - its the same all over.
Which supports my theory about Social Media. It is what it is. And Charles Barkley is probably spot on for the most part. But to use it this as a barometer for Cowboys Nation isn’t accurate.

So, how is it the AFC got 20+? I'm only asking as I didn't bother to watch it.
