We as Cowboys fans know that a lot of our close games were not as close as the final score would indicate.....because we watched the games. Late scores on the defense ect.

That's where coaching comes in. Like is said, Garret isn't as bad as I make him out to be, but he is not good enough to succeed without better talent than the other team.

We went from bottom 5 in WR separation to top 5 after AC. And we lost Witten minutes before the draft.

It's positive because he took a young and inexperienced team to the divisional round, much like he did in 2016 with a rookie qb and Rb, the team lost its center(heart of OL) they won games, they started an undersized rookie guard, they won games, they changed OL coach, won games, lost their starting TE, they won games, lost their starting LG, won games.

The team wasn't supposed to win 10 games if you're taking that stance. He took a team that wasn't supposed to win and won. How is that hard to see?

The entire premise of the article is saying that Dallas performed at a mediocre level. They did not over perform. 10 wins was very fortunate based on their level of play. After that point the article shows historical data suggesting that Dallas will regress to the mean next year. Not trying to be rude, but I don/t think you fully grasp the point of the article.
 
The issue is that they are only in year nine of the process. Never mind taking advantage of Dak’s early contract. The process is the process and fans just need to be patient.
 
Garrett is the most under appreciated HC in Cowboys history. At least if you use this anonymous fan site as a measuring stick which IMO doesnt always represent Cowboys Nation.

The entire point of the article is that Dallas was very lucky to win 10 games based on their level of play. I really dont think people understand the point of this article.

This 9 year BS is just using a narrative to support your opinion.

This the 2nd team Garrett has had to restructure . The 1st one ended with Romo and another begun with Dak. These are almost 2 completely different rosters.

And what exactly are we being patient for. Like if it doesn’t culminate into a championship it’s a total failure. Lol

Even with the level of play, THEY WON 10 GAMES THEY SHOULDN'T HAVE .
The coach has to get credit for it, just as he would if they lost those 10

AFC East is the Patriots and 3 challenged teams.

So, 3-1 should be doable.

I agree it will be tough to repeat though. Hoping the FO is proactive than reactive this year.
