Is there a possibility of Zeke holding out?

unless he gets a new contract. I say let him rot. Perfect excuse to draft a young stud with our 3rd round pick and let him start the season.

I love Zeke. He is the Cowboys best player and they would not have made the playoffs without him. I can't see paying a RB 8 figures annually for 3-5 years. My guess is that they would not sniff a SB under those circumstances. I would look for a trade.

You don’t spend a 4th pick for a 3 year player.

Sign him now for 4-5 years and he will still be under 30 when his contract is up. At that point, you part ways.

#21 appears to hold some pertinent Alpha characteristics that would seemingly jibe in the correspondingly implied direction of parallel concurrence as that of the O.P's THREAD HEADER,,,er,,,just saying, fellerso_O

* I recall about 3/4 of the way thru this previous season, "tendrils of BLURTED feelers" being lobbed out:popcorn:

I absolutely love Zeke, but I'd feel out Oakland for the 2 1st round picks that got from us and Chicago.

Depends on what he wants.

This is part of the problem of using a Top 5 pick on a TB. You are almost forced into giving him a new deal to get any substantial return on the pick.
