Cowboys Over-Performed?

I would say damn close to the same success, I believe in Players and Brady os a great one. Just as I feel BB wouldn't have won here.

Damn close? Like win multiple SBs?

And BB would have had way more success here in Dallas than Garrett has had. It’s insulting to Belichick to argue that Garrett is close to his equal just didn’t get lucky enough to end up in NE.

That's your opinion, not mine, you don't know what he would do here, he was fired in cleveland. Yo swap Brady Dallas wins multiple

It’s hard to take you seriously if that’s what you really think, when you insinuate that Jason Garrett is almost an equal of arguably the greatest coach in the history of the NFL.

That Garrett is just a victim of bad circumstances and Belichick is basically lucky he landed in NE.

And unless Brady could also play FS and DE for us, no, he probably doesn’t win multiple SBs here.

You lose credibility when you insinuate that Jason Garrett is almost an equal of arguably the greatest coach in the history of the NFL.

That Garrett is just a victim of bad circumstances and Belichick is basically lucky he landed in NE.

It’s hard to ever take you seriously if that’s what you really think.

As I said, you don't know what would've been if roles were reversed. and neither do I, it's why it was called a hypothetical.

You put Brady on the 2016, 2014, 2009, 2018, and maybe 2017. teams those are super bowl wins in my opinion

I just can’t anymore. I’ve heard it all now....... Jason Garrett is basically Belichick if only he had been coaching New England.

You don't know if BB is BB in Dallas, so yeah you heard it all.

Call it what you want, there's been a lot of issues, spanning back 25 years and majority of the issues are the same.....lol

Take note that it hasn't been the same "players not executing" for those 25 years. And that they "executed better" when they had better coaches.

Please tell me when they executed better because over the 25 years jg has had the most success of those coaches. They executed no better with parcels and Peyton here

Wade Phillips. Won 13 games and 11 games in two of his 3.5 seasons here. Got as far as Garrett has - a divisional round.

It’s funny that guys think Garrett has taken this team further than any coach since Johnson and Switzer.

As you put it how many playoff wins does he have? What he did, isn't equal to what Garrett did, he has done the most period. He also lost the team after 3.5 seasons....lol

He has one playoff win in 3.5 seasons to Garrett’s 2 playoff wins in 8. Phillips had 3 winning seasons in 3.5 total. Garrett has 4 in 8 full years.

LOL. At this point, I am starting to think you are trolling us.

Did Wade lose the team in 3 years?

Which has zero to do with the point. I am not trying to argue Phillips was a good coach or even a beer coach.

You are the one seemingly claiming that Garrett has taken the team to heights not seen since the 90s.

That’s false. Yes Phillips lost the team in 3.5 years but in that time has 3 winning seasons (Garrett has four in twice as many seasons) and had gotten as far as Garrett did in the playoffs - a divisional round.

And Phillips wasn’t even that good a HC anyway. So the fact he’s accomplished similar results to Garrett in half the time as Garrett is eye opening.

I'm sorry sir... which game that we won in 11 total victories were we outplayed? I can think of MAYBE 1 (@ATL).
Not saying we were outplayed. But all it would've taken is one play to change the outcome.

I just watched the video excerpts of Kitna, and I think his influence could get this offense scoring from start to finish, and possibly eliminate a lot of those close games.

That's stupid, you have no idea what kind of coa hing is going on during the week, matter of fact I'd say you're wrong, because I've heard players say they go over the very things they that they blow in games.
Well you have no idea either, it is all speculation for both of us.
I know I dont see excessive mistakes with NE, as they are well coached during the week.

The article's point is that this team wasn't as good as people thought and could revert to non-playoff status next year. The analysis shows that the team likely played like an 8 win team and essentially just got lucky.

Not exactly sure how this is a "positive" article for Garrett. In fact, it likely speaks to the opposite.
It can easily be argued that with Cooper the whole year they would have gone 14-2 or 13-3, if you extrapolate the 8-1 for the whole season. To me this season speaks to Daks skills incorporating Cooper so well.

What makes you think they're well coach. They make mistakes, you don't watch them as closely as the Cowboys, in the end they come out on top most of the time and the mistakes are forgotten. When they were being talked about being done, weren't they making mistakes?

He lost the team after just 3 seasons, That's what eye popping. Enough said.

But like always you find a random side point and bang on it thinking it helps your case.

The fact Phillips lost the team after three years and still took the team as far as Garrett has should tell you something.

In other words Philips wasn’t a good coach. And yet accomplished in 3 full seasons almost as much as Garrett has in 8 full seasons.
