Exactly. It's very easy to clean house next year with these moves as long as there isn't an extension for Garrett following.

only way garrett gets an extension is if we have a great year again next year....and if we do, and win another playoff game i think i could be fine with that.

I think it's a mistake but at this point, we are getting close to the end of the Garrett run so if this fails, I think it's almost impossible for Jerry to continue down this road with Garrett. If it works out, great.

So I am all for it. There doesn't seem to be much downside here. Either he's a prodigy that makes us a better team, or this thing fails and Garrett finally gets the heave ho.

What if he's on the sidelines?

I see him standing on the 30 yard line while all other players, coaches, trainers, etc huddled on the other 30 yard line. They switch when the quarter ends.

I’m trying to remember who was the last NFL OC who took over those big duties in his second year of coaching. I hope KM is successful, I really do. But count me as skeptical. Especially when I look in the owners box and remember who’s in charge.

If Garrett wins a Wild Card game and loses yet another divisional round game, you would give Garrett an extension?

I wouldn't.

You'd be fine with a wild card round win and losing in the divisional round again? I wouldn't. Though it would be progress making the playoffs back to back years. Still not enough for me from a coach in his 9th full year.

Meanwhile, Linehan just got his job took by the protege he brought to the organization. Must suck for him.

Makes sense. He proved at the pro bowl that he could implement Garrett’s “run and punt” offense just as it’s designed to be.

I don't know if Moore being an OC is a good move or a bad move and anyone saying either way is just guessing.

We will have to trust that Dallas knows what they are doing with this move.

The Kitna as a qb coach, I can say after watching some video of some of his philosophies, is a good one.

I can only imagine that Moore has shown a lot in a short amount of time.
