Agreed. He gets the most from the talent he has, and more importantly they show up more often than not. The Cowboys seem to flake out a lot. Romo bailed out Garrett in many games. And last year Dak did it too in a few games.

Belichicks starting DT's weigh 335 and 320. It is easier to an incredible degree to stop the run if the middle is immoveable.

Similar players with similar skillset and both chainmovers within their offenses.

Biggest difference is how they are employed and ututilized. New England much more unpredictable.

Let's see, Shelton/Brown are a much better DT combo. I mean, they don't let anything go up the middle.
Hightower is better than LVE, at least right now.
Gilmore is better than Byron. Far as that goes, their #2 Cb is also.
Trey Flowers is very close to as good as DLaw.
Kyle van Noy is better than any or of our LB's.

Seriously, did you look before you proclaimed this? Their S's are better than ours by a large margin. Not sure this is even close.

Sad thing is Cowboys have better personal on defense and they got crushed on that side. What would Bellichik doe with the Cowboys personal on defense? This is why until the Cowboys get a legit coach they aren’t sniffing the super bowl. They keep lame duck Garrett for another wasted year coming up.

The biggest difference was in penetration. We stunted our DL horizontally into the A and B gaps. Belicheck knows this is a very stupid game plan to do against the Rams, so he instead had his DL penetrate vertically into the A and B gaps causing all sorts of confusion for the Rams.

Like I said, coaching makes a world of difference. Ours dont know what the hell they are doing and Belicheck has 6 rings. That's not by coincidence.

Mark of a good coaching is how the team plays when their key guys are out. With a lesser talented players, they need to be coached up better for them to perform. We couldn't win a game without Romo until Dak and same for Lee until LVE.

It's a different story with Belichick . He won 11 games without GOAT QB Brady when he was injured and out for a season. He won 3 games with no names QBs when Brady was suspended for 4 games. He won a SB with his WR playing CB. He won a SB with a RB he just signed off of the street few weeks prior. Their safety Chung went out tonight and his replacement wasn't a liability and even made a play to break up a TD pass.

Heath goes out and his replacement Frazier immediately gives up a TD.
We are not a very well coached team. Patriots are.

These are the same coaches that watched Chaz Green get beat on the same move 5 times and watched Dak get his brains beat in, without doing jack squat about it.

No surprise they didn’t adjust against the Rams

Garrett should have been fired after that game. 2015 we saw this staff when they had to go to a backup. No clue how to adjust.

This staff is an embarrassment. Dak and Zeke are now at the end of their deals. And we wasted it. That was the time to load up on talent and make a run. But Garrett is here so yeah...

Pats never chased the Rams from side to side. Neither did the Bears. Both games the Rams offense looked like pop warner junk. You chase them and fall right in their trap. We should have seen that after the first 2 drives but nope. No adjustments made at all.

Nope he will design a perfect scheme for the QB he has. He will play to Dak's strengths.

Remember when they got Randy Moss and the Pats turned into one of the best offenses ever and Brady had 50TDs and they went 16-0? That was Belichik adjusting the gameplan to fit the pieces he had. Garrett would have ran the same boring offense and had Moss running 10 yard curls the whole game.

You think if Mahomes was here under Garrett he'd be anything near what he is under Reid?

Yea, right. With the championship on the line all he does is lead them on the game winning drive even after playing mediocre thru the game. Purely blind adulation on my part. A perfect example of how we all see things differently .

Coaching matters when you have enough talent.

Bill is a great defensive guru but he also builds his defenses where the strength is needed . And he has a QB who leads them on championship drives with games on the line. Greatest combination in NFL history.

I know everyone wants to beat up on Garrett because it is easy. But everyone's favorite defensive coach, Kris Richard, got completely schooled in that game right along with Linehan, Marinelli and Garrett.
