If he starts to impress, we'll probably put him on waivers.
And the example of that is ... ?

I too have been wondering about Mike White. Nothing seems to be being talked about as far as he is concerned. We know he is sitting in the garage all shiny and new just waiting to be driven on a sunny day. So what gives?
All the stupid decisions we've made over the last 25 years?
No, I'm talking about of players who really impress and the team cuts them. We all know the team has made bad decisions, but that doesn't mean we can pin everything on them our minds can make up.
It gets really old having to spell everything out for you. This comment exemplifies my disdain for Jerry and my confidence in his decision making abilities. Would it make you feel better if I added a footnote stating that my comment may not necessarily apply directly to a decision concerning Mike White?
This really is going to be a long offseason around here.
Yes, it exemplifies your disdain by applying whatever complaint to him you can fabricate in your mind. There are a lot of people that don't like Jerry as our GM either, including myself, but who are still able to base complaints on what he has done wrong rather than try to discredit him based on something we made up that he hasn't done.
I'll tell you what: in the future, I will try really, really hard to remember to put disclaimers on all of my posts, just for you!
There aren’t that many quality QBs to go around, and that’s especially true picking one as late as the 5th round. What would have been better in the 5th round, taking a more traditional pocket passer they felt was better than 5th round talent and they felt good had a chance to be a quality backup, or stretching to take someone they felt was more of a 6th to 7th round talent that they didn’t feel as good about because he was more similar to Dak? Besides, it’s not as if the offensive scheme can only accommodate one or the other.
They're not big on having the offense "accommodate" any player. "Next man up". That's why it's *more* important for them to get players to fit the scheme.
What he needs is improvement over last yearTerrific arm and a tough kid. Took a beating in college and still put up big numbers.
When he's truly ready, I'd love to see him get time with the ones in preseason. Can't judge these guys when they're playing with garbage.
It’s only a matter of time
Or maybe just be reasonable to begin with. Here's a rule of thumb: If Jerry has a history of doing something in particular, then it's fair to express concern that he may do it again. But if he has no history of a particular action, then it isn't fair to attribute that action to him anyway.

I think instead of trying to adhere to your expectations, I'll probably continue to post as I see fit. I thought the addition of disclaimers to let you know precisely what I am thinking and referring to would make you happy, but alas.
Brees grew an inch or two on paper. Did you see White hit that crossbar? If they make that worth 4 points he'll be a star.I really wouldn't have guessed that being in the NFL a year boosts your height two inches.
Guess I should have stuck with football.
And I have no idea where throws a rocket is coming from after watching him.
And Dak was.....He was a 5th round draft pick, and for now a 3rd string QB - did you really think he would be talked about as a top prospect who is just waiting to break out?
