Football is a physical sport, so the baseball model does not work. But this could do something like the G League.

I disagree. I'm not advocating sending your starters down to the minors, I've suggesting it might be a good thing for Mike White to actually get some legitimate work so you can adequately decide if the guy has anything worth developing. And the same goes for any of the bottom of the roster guys. You can't tell me added reps and playing time would be a bad thing for a guy as far behind as Rico is.

Or would additional attendance and revenue at the Cowboys stadium during the offseason.

Heck you might even sell a few "White" jerseys in the process.

That league really had superstars jumping ship and really disrupted things.

The USFL got a significant number of Star Players.

I liked some of what NFL Europe did with the allocations. But an active football league cannot co-exist like the baseball minors. This has to follow the GLeague.
