Flacco is a statue back there.

They are going to need to upgrade their o-line to give him a chance.

I've never been a Flacco fan. Outside of his excellent Super Bowl run, he's been average or below average. Good for him for leveraging that run to a $100M contract. But he basically stole that money.

No denying that. I've never seen a player bet on himself quite like he did and have it ultimately pay off quite so handsomely. And then he reverted back to the same guy he had always been.

Yeah nothing against him personally, but he was always somewhat average other than the magical SB run.
He had the great benefit of playing with some truly stout defenses for much of his career.

And he has a strong arm. One that he's never consistently used.

And I think there will be a WHOLE LOT of 'em! Cuts, trades, signings, I think this will be a huge year for player movement.

yep. Things will happen that no one saw coming putting players\possibilities into play that seemed impossible. The antonio brown situation could create a lot of movement if he is indeed dealt.

I was sorta hoping his market wouldn't be strong & we might be able to pick him up as competition\backup.

Since he's prolly the best they could've gotten via trade, good move. As long as they're not giving up more than a 3rd, that is.

Quality QB's are hard to find. Maybe the Broncs can figure out what's wrong w/ Flacco and fix him. Since they have no one else, might as well try this.

** I was referring to Flacco, not AB as a possible pick up for us. **

Magical 2012 run aside.....

If you ever run into anyone that uses playoff wins as a QB stat, you can point this this famous Joe Flacco stat line in the 2009 playoffs
4 completions
10 attempts
34 yards
0 TDs
1 int
QB rating of !0.0....lowest in history

And "he" got the "playoff win"

Well, Elway was the wrong quarterback until he teamed up with Terrell Davis. So...
In no universe was Elway ever wrong as a QB. They didn't have the team to beat the big guns til late in his career but he was all you could ever ask for as a player.
