Gregory, try Baylor! No need to study, lovely female "tutors," no accountability, free criminal defense....
Oh, wait....

Hey, wait I went to Baylor. No wait, we have a bailer. Sheeeit, so confooozed. Could never keep the two straight. Last summer I went to Bailer and untangled the strings. From College to farm gate I swear

The guy failed his NFL Combine drug test and has been suspended every year since. He clearly likes weed more than football. Case closed.

He outplayed Tyrone Crawford's annual contract in one year after being removed from the game for an "eternity" in football terms.
And I'm willing to bet he's not "simple", but weak.
He's a smart guy, but one without a lot of will-power and that could be from necessity, or enjoyment, or pure escapism
He's a bone headed thug pothead. Case closed, killed, cooked, glazed, sliced, consumed, pooped out, and flushed. The end.

Well, luckily the draft is deep at DE and cowboys could get a solid guy in the second...... bad news is they also need help at DT.

This Gregory suspension means one thing:

The FO NEEDS to be more aggressive in FA. To fill more holes, so that they don’t HAVE to take DE or DT in the second. Or have every other position filled so they can do deep at DL in the draft.

Way to throw away a career. Could've had a great run and made loads of money, but when you're young and stupid you don't think about the future. When he's 40 and that ship sailed (if he makes it that far) he'll wish he did things differently.

Let's pay Lawrence more than he's worth because that's how smart teams do it lol.
Its him and a bunch of scrubs now...……………..we got no choice to pay him unless your plan is to tank so Garrett doesn't get his extension. I would not be totally opposed to that strategy.

At least the Gregory and Irving fiascos will expedite Garretts departure. Can't happen soon enough!

Yeah, I keep sayin that but made it to 60 and the ship still sails... sort of. Just need a bigger wind at the sails so to speak. Let's not pretend we care about Gregory. We care about 6 sacks and wanting more. For the most part. Too much high mindedness when said behind a screen

So looking forward to Tyrone Crawford starting at RDE all year and getting paid $7,000,000 to not get any sacks or pressures.

Sooo, I'm late to the party here, and forgive me if this has been stated but - the way the tweet is written, doesn't it look like its not a failed drug test. But maybe some procedural thing to do with his previous suspension ? Of course, that could be just the way they wrote it to soften the blow.
Again now, like with ******* Irving, we are up against it. Whatever plans they had this morning for F.A. and the draft have just been turned on their heads. Now, we have to find another DE, as well as DT. Just when you think the team is in fairly good shape not really needing to target positions this happens.
Look, I love the talent Gregory has, just as much as any other fan, but a suspension every year your in the league ? Can't continue to do it.
We have to be careful with so many players - who play and have earned a new contract, this year or next. Now with this on top of that. If it is the dreaded failed test - he has to go.
With missing the first pick, we will now be less effective in getting starting caliber players past maybe the 2nd round. and much to my chagrin, it once again - because of an addiction - pushes DT down the draft slots. Where as I felt they may finally take one with our top pick, now that may need to go to which ever DE is still around at # 58.
Pretty bummed for Gregory (just smidge), for the Cowboys, and for what this draft might have been.

life goes on, but the opportunity to be great in the NFL and make the kind of money that goes along with that doesn't happen everyday. Maybe that's not important to him. But financially he could've set himself up nicely.
