That doesn't bother me as much as he's hoping to be NFL highest paid safety. It's interesting if you remove Berry's contract, the highest paid is well below $10M. Either way, the market will have a ton of avail free agents. Maybe the best way to go and forget ET........

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports free agent Earl Thomas has "no interest" in giving the Cowboys a hometown discount.
Thomas has been stumping to play for his home-state team for years, but he wants to be properly compensated to do so. That is probably especially true after last year's injury debacle. Per reporter Clarence Hill, Thomas currently maintains hope of becoming the "highest paid safety in the NFL." That could be tough seeing as he's going on 30 and coming off major injury. Eric Berry maintains current honors at $13 million per year.
