That's kind of the point here, Sure Wentz had a good season in 17, won a lot of games and looked to be why he was drafted in the 1st. last season he looked terrible man, regressed to no end, didn't seem the offense was really playing "for" him so getting hurt was probably a good thing for him. Nick Fole's is looking like a QB god under this offense, I'd say probably the best he has his whole career, if Wentz goes out flat, and ya'll start off losing and he can't get it together, I'm betting we will see that stadium fire here in Dallas as the fans burn it down...hey it's a crap shoot, he either will keep moving up, or fall like a stone to the bottom...of course, same can be said right here with Dak. We pay him and he keeps regressing, all hell will break lose. Difference is, I don't see Dak doing that......with Wentz, who knows at this point, the injuries have kept him off the field so in truth, you don't really know what you have in him.
Hmm, not sure what you’re getting at. Wentz played pretty well last last year. The run game disappeared and we couldn’t get drives together, but he was killing people at times. Improved in many statistical categories over 2017. People just look at the td passes number which is incredibly misleading. In 2017 we had like the 4th best run game in football, Blount would get us down in the red zone and Carson just needed a 12 yard pass for yet another td.
He mantained his yards per attempt from 2017 but ballooned his completion % to 70%. He was a man possessed.
