Karter Schult now has 4 sacks through 3 games and plenty of tackles for loss. Probably the best player in the league.

I'm torn about Hackenberg, he's just so very, very, bad, I can't help but be entertained watching him. Watching him stumbling around, throwing to lord only knows who, taking big hits and horrible sacks, all the cursing, the guy is a human version of a train wreck..... so horrible but just can't help but watch. He plays football like it's an SNL sketch.

There's a lot of similarities to Ryan Leaf. Talented but too quick to lash out at coaches, teammates, etc. Can't improve on those weaknesses unless you truly acknowledge and address them. The league (NFL) is full of stories of guys who struggled and figured it out a few years later. I just don't think Hackenberg is willing to take ownership and fix the real issues. I was hoping the AAF would be that opportunity for him, but he's simply repeating the behavior that torpedoed a once promising career.

First play of the game, interception by the San Antonio defense.

Second play of the game, TD pass by the San Antonio offense (Woodside to McKay).

8-0 Commanders in just 19 seconds.

San Antonio appeared to go up 14-0 but holding took the TD off the board.
Since then, Woodside has 2 picks with the second one being a pick six.

Commanders getting smoked now, 28-8. Nothing has gone right since that second TD pass got called back for holding.

Gardner looks like a really good back - should probably be in the NFL.

McKay looks pretty good at WR. As a designated team, Dallas should bring him to camp given the WR situation. I'd look at Greg Ward, too.

I agree about Gardner. Has a little MJD thing about him.

Commanders split with the Fleet, fall to 1-2, but SA played 3-0 Orlando in week 2 while SD played 0-3 Atlanta.

Need to sort out the QB situation, though. Woodside makes poor decisions and Williams can't pass.

I randomly googled a AAF player without knowing anything about him and found out he went to the same high school I did, what are the chances lol? Although as a Texan probably a little higher that if I went to HS in New Hampshire....
