My buddies red 65 convertible is in my garage . 327 carbureted 30 -30 cam , M21 4 speed and side exhaust . A very cool ride but neither one of us have time to take it out much .

Not near as fast or road worthy for that matter as the newer ones but drive it down the road and everyone is giving the thumbs up . True piece of history something about the look of those old 60s Corvettes that attracts people like a magnet .

They had an arrogant powerful look to match the times . Gas Mileage , Emission controls , air bags . buzzers , bells and dingers designed to save you from yourself all took a back seat to Raw Power in the form of tri powered 427s with high compression and solid lifters requiring Sunoco 260. Incredible machines with an unequaled sound and the smell of raw fuel at idle that made your eyes water while you adjusted the mixture.

Those were great days !!!

My dad bought a white, 1964 Corvette Stingray with red interior off the show room floor back in the day. It was beautiful!

My brother owns a 2006, metallic blue Corvette. I’ve always had a thing for Vettes.

I hear ya brother something about them . Drive down the road in that old vette with the side pipes and heads just snap around like your a Rock Star LOL

Have had a few, all sticks. Probably liked the 96 Grand Sport best. The Mid Engine Vette we should finally see this April I believe, may come in around $120k to start. Rumor has it that there will be two engine choices and yes the fron engine C7 should stay around for awhile as well. The interior from spy shots looks wild, just hope they put in a kick azz stereo for once, for the price they should. Can’t wait to see it and the specs...

I can see that. More aggressively styled than a Lotus if these leaked designs are final.

It looks Ferrari inspired to me, which I definitely don't think is a bad thing. Some Corvette purists may not like it though.
We should be so lucky if it were to look as good as this, has a lot of Lambo in her...

did any of yawl go to the car build feature on the Chevy site? kind of fun adding up the options. I built a ZL1 Camaro that was believe it or not is more expensive that a Vett.
if anyone is considering buying any GM car or truck check to see if your company is a supplier for GM. I worked for Mercury marine and the parent company is Brunswick. I asked the HR dept for a supplier number and saved $500.00 off wife's Colorado. there maybe a site for a list of suppliers also ?

I still love me a C1 Corvette (with the screens over the headlights). Just a gorgeous timeless design. I feel like the C4 was pretty forgettable. C7 is probably my favorite of them all. Just a great looking vehicle.

Good choices. My favorite is the 1960, and for obvious reasons, I love the '79....but the C7 is trying hard to take the top spot.

It's hard to find a better looking car on the road than the Corvette. Daddy took me to a car auction in St Petersburg Florida once and I had a melt down over the Corvette lane. Couldn't pull him from the Buicks though. (Insert cuss words here.)
