Well, now the offseason is getting interesting.

Master Tesfatsion of Bleacher Report reports that the Raiders were shopping quarterback Derek Carr at the Scouting Combine.


While few players are unshoppable (Patrick Mahomes, Baker Mayfield, Aaron Donald, maybe Deshaun Watson), it’s not currently believed that the Raiders have serious interest in trading Carr.

Interesting. Gruden really is having a fire sale.

Carr could possibly work really well in our system. I do think he's a lot better than Dak, and I believe Cooper would be glad to be catching passes from him again.

Carr might be a tad bit better than Dak, but that's about it. They really are in the same tier as far as NFL QBs go.

I'd bring him in for late draft pick and a much smaller contract. Pay Dak $25+ mil or Carr $10 mil? Assuming we can even get a lower contract from him that is.

I would never pay Dak 25 million, based on what he has done to this point and I would never pay a backup 10 million. We don't have the cap to do that kind of stuff IMO.

It's funny he claims the "nerds" dont watch Carr, when it's painfully apparent he himself hasn't watched Carr.

Carr here would be a nightmare for the forum.

People claim Dak "dinks and dunks" when he doesnt, while Carr actually had the shortest throw distance in the league last year. Yet the same ones who claim the dink and dunk want Carr lmao.

I’ve been incredibly critical of Dak but there’s no way I do this unless it was a very low pick. I don’t see Carr as much of an improvement over Dak. You’d be trading a top 20 QB for a top 15 qb. Rosen is who would intrigue me.

I think it depends on who Gruden likes. I know he likes the kid from Georgia, I've heard him talk about him. I don't know if he likes Murray as much. To me, it all comes down to that.
