So if Hatcher is lying about Garrett, why should we believe anything he says about the team playing for Dak and not Romo?

You shouldn't. I dont.

As I listen to Jason Hatcher’s comments I remember him coming into my office and confronting me about a report where several of his teammates called him selfish. We should all be careful of throwing stones.

Pretty obvious to me, if he would have ran more than 3 plays, they could have doubled the scoring:)

Hatcher is sour grapes. He's pissed Dallas let him walk and he busted in DC. Now we know why Dallas let him go.

But is right about garret. I always thought Garret should have been sent packing with Wade.

I always like to hear the honest views and opinions of former players not beholden or indebted to the Cowboys. I value those a lot more than those still around the team or those needing the job and money the Cowboys might offer.

As the saying goes, where there's smoke there is fire.

And this is far from the first or only person to be making claims like this.

People can close their eyes and dismiss yet another player making similar claims if they want to, nobody can MAKE you see something you don't want to.

None so blind as those who will not see. Understanding cannot be forced on someone who chooses to be ignorant.

Yet Jason had a season pretty much just as bad as Wade’s was, and he never got fired for it.

Funny how that works. Right Dre?

“Romo didn't have the it factor to make people around him better. I think when I was there he thought he was bigger than the team. It was like Romo and then the team. Like nobody in the locker room is really going to respect you like that. I really don't respect him as a player based on what he did to the team where a lot of people didn't see.”

"He was a great player and got all the numbers and stuff but I'll take Dak over Romo any day because Dak has the ability to make people around him better. You'll run through a wall for Dak but Romo, hell no."

When asked to clarify his remark about making people better, Hatcher went on to criticize Romo even more.

"Romo was feeling like he was a Brett Favre and I'm like 'dude, you ain't do nothing. What have you done? You got your own space that you leave ... don't come in the locker room an interact with your teammates, but you call yourself a leader? Nah, partner. It don't work like that.'

Hatcher was asked about what happened around the time the Cowboys fired Phillips and if the team quit on him?

"Let me tell you something. I'm going to tell you the truth. I saw Jason Garrett sabotage this man."

When asked if Hatcher believed that he said, "absolutely."

"We ran three plays three freakin plays (before Wade was fired). I don't care what the media say. We was flying around. We was out of pads in week 7 (in 2009). We was beating people's heads in. Now we go into camp cupcake (in 2010) and do what Wade don't want to do. We get in pads, we beat each other down. We tired, we not fresh. And then you go and call three or four plays (Garrett on offense) till this man gets fired."
Guy is still bitter from not being signed by Dallas. Every player has a different view, take it with a grain of salt.

How blind are you when the offense scored points of 20,27,27,21,35 in the first 8 games and you go 1-7. That's squarely on the defense which Wade and Hat her was a part of. There's also the laid back T

That has nothing to do with what Hatcher has said. Are you unable to stay on topic. His unit by far was better than Wade's when Wade was firwd. And somehow you dopes call that sabotage. Use your freaking brain if you have one.

He lasted longer than Jimmy,Campo,Bill Parcel so what

No need to make personal attacks to defend your boy Garrett Dre. You’re better than that.

The offense also averaged 9 ppg higher after Wade was fired. Despite not having Romo. I notice how your posts keep failing to mention that.

I think we all love Romo more than he deserves and we hate Dak more than we should. Both players are flawed, both are average a best.
Romo put up big numbers when the league opened up, but was never a top 10 guy, this isnt rocket science we can list out all the QB's in his era and he is clearly after guys like
Brady,P. Manning, Rivers, Favre, Rodgers, Big Ben, Brees, Eli, Matt Ryan, Andrew Luck, R. Wilson, Stafford possiblly
To me he was the best of the 2nd level, Romo, Cutler, possiblly Eli down here, Carson Palmer, Alex Smith

Romo lovers the Truth hurts. Guys I loved Romo, defended to every Cowboy/ Romo hater but when you sit back and evaluate his career it just is what it is. If we had not bobbled that snap, if we beat the Giants in 2007, if we beat the Vikes in 2009, if we beat the Pack in 2014, he is in the first tier of his era. No doubt about that. I remember the spectacular plays he made but I tend to remember all the must win games we didn't win when he was QB, and yes its a team game I totally understand that. Everyone but Jerry knows our coaching sucks.

I feel the same way about Dak, to me he is honestly middle of the pack at best which is why I dont't want him paid like a top 10 player, let his career play out a big more.
Let him play out his 4th year than Franchise him if you have to. Pay your other guys first. Pay the guys who actually enable Dak to be successful. There is no shame in being a bus driver. A bus driver type has won the SB when surrounded by talent. Brad Johnson, Dilfer, Mark Rypien, Flacco, Eli when he made his first, Hasselback,Kap,

So you think a tweet from Dallas Cowboys employee Bryan Broaddus carries weight? While the words of a guy with nothing to gain or lose don't?

Broaddus probably walked up to the pay window and asked for a raise as soon as he typed it! But yeah, you go ahead and believe that guy, I mean what reason could someone on the payroll have to not tell the truth?

It's obvious who the shills are here. You're exactly the kind of person that I was referring to, practicing willful ignorance.

Yeah but when he says things like Romo didn't make anyone better you just kinda scratch your head.

That's when my value for his opinion goes out the window because he's either got a grudge or he just doesn't have a clue about what he's talking about.

"Romo didn't have the it factor to make people around him better. "

I'm out. That's all I need to read.

Did Tony make the team better in 2006 when he took over for Bledsoe?

Tony sent linemen to pro bowls by replacing The Statue. He made the team relevant. He had Williams at 17 yards per reception. Escobar in the teens. I saw Escobar playing in that new league the other weekend. Everybody's productivity collapsed after Tony left. Dez. Witten.

And I still wonder if Tony was the one making the game plans in 2016, as Butler seemed to suggest.

The "it" factor is "I like his personality", so I think that makes him a better player, and I'll ignore the facts.

Exactly.

Hard for me to believe that Witten and others wouldn't run through walls for him.

Seems like a divided locker room, and I have a feeling Hatcher is on team TO.

Just me but Dak AND Romo make players around them better but in a different ways
Romo through stats
Dak through leadership

What interesting you can make the exact comparison for DWare and DLaw.
DLaw = leadership
DWare = stats
