Should they not?

Are they just supposed to applaud anything and everything or keep quiet?

Just so I know what 'the rules' are?

Talk away, just pump the breaks on overreaction to things we “know”.

I want a new HC.

Finally, the Earl Thomas thing is over. The guy will be 30 before the season starts and has been injured each of the last 3 seasons. I subscribe to the belicheat theory of it's better to release a season early than a season late. Now the Cowboys didn't release him but for what the ravens are paying him they better pray that he plays a full season and doesn't continue his streak of seasons with injuries. Thomas wouldn't be the first player that once hitting that 30 mark has a noticeable drop in play if it happens and then if it does happen how smart will the ravens look.

We're at the point of the off-season where it no longer matters. This team will not improve themselves in free agency no matter what they end up doing. The real upgrades are gone. It's on to the draft with no first round pick and in the meantime look for their QB to become the most overpaid player in the league as they waste more years with him under center.

Cold. Hard. Truth.

And that statement has what exactly to do with telling everyone else how they should react like you're trying to do here?

As much as we disagree with their actions, fans tend to overreact based on speculation.

My reaction is based on what Jerry and Stephen themselves stated after not extending Garrett and firing Linehan. Holding them accountable for their words versus what they have done. They are the rare GM and President/VP of a team that don't have to be accountable because they are also the owner and the owner's son.

My reaction is also based on what fans have seen since 2012 after Brandon Carr was signed. Nothing done to truly improve the roster in free agency.

Too bad we can't bump the 178 "ET will phone home" threads. :muttley:

Don't always agree with Risen and his sarcastic sense of humor, how ever like Fred MaGrif - I totally endorse this !

As if my concern is what in the world would we do without Jeff Heath.....lol. Stephen himself must've posted this.
I like how they admit signing someone would be an upgrade over Heath though.

Truth in advertising.

Yep, HE GONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...................

https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/...-losing-several-key-defenders-in-free-agency/

4 years: 55 MIL, and 22 MIL is paid the first NINE months.....that's completely INSANE.

Now we can stop hearing about him. Bump this when he gets re-injured and they lose big on this deal. I liked Earl a LOT in his prime but that was 3 years ago fellas. This deal is unspeakably horrible for Bmore. As a Cubs fan, this reminds me of them signing Yu Darvish a couple years ago. BIG arm, great talent and lots of past success. But he had and injury history and got hurt almost right away.

Back to our team... Sucks we aren't doing anything but most of you are missing are biggest weakness we need to address and that's the Dline. It's horrific.

Just unbelievably accurate with a dose of implied humor at the end even...Nah, this is the real truth actually.
Great post bro.
It wasn't that long ago that we bemoaned all the high priced free agents that didn't play up to their contract, leaving us in salary cap hell.

Patriots had two players make the pro bowl last year, but apparently we can only win if we have 10.

I admit I wasn't as sold on ET as a lot of people were but I also admit this is pretty embarrassing

Dallas could have lived with that contract and he would have been a big help to our young defense and helped in more ways than just his play. Cowboys have become cheap and honestly its pretty pathetic.
