Who is still out there?

I willl start by saying that I am frustrated that they failed to sign Earl Thomas. I know there was concerns about his injuries, but at the same time he is a hall of fame level player at a position of need who has played for our secondary coach before.

I want the front office to make a few moves to actually improve the team, before the draft comes.

The positions I feel that most need to be addressed to really improve the team are:

DT/DE, Safety, slot receiver. OL depth.

What free agents are still available that can be impact players at these positions?

And is there any hope in Dallas signing them?

I want the team to go for it already.

I would love a guy like Golden Tate and HaHa Clinton Dix but I don’t think we want to spend

DT Danny Sheldon.
DE - designated pass rusher - Shaquil Barrett.
SWR Golden Tate.
Safety Clayton Geathers.

Of those, I like Tate, first and foremost. I like Montgomery a lot as well. Malcom Brown would be a good addition to the interior DL, and Geathers is overlooked only because there were so many big name S’s on the market.

Plenty of help still out there.

By not going big after Thomas, that tells me Richard was not willing to go to the wall for him.

First look at the Alliance rosters..then cross all those names off.

Scour the CFL practice squad. Nope, still not clever enough.


Check the front of the local Home Depot. Still too expensive.


Buy last year's Street & Smith College Yearbook and peruse the D3 All American list. Then immediately go to those school's website and look who their back-up's are. Maybe, just maybe that's your guy.


Just expect to be amazed.
