All it takes is creativity to keep coop from being double teamed

Out of curiosity, How bad do you think it will be for Coop and being double covered next season, now that Bease is gone? Coop helped turn around last season from 3-5, but if teams can take him away, will we have enough other weapons? Who will Dak throw it to?
Cooper wasnt doubled this yr? i think you should go watch that philly game, you know where he had 217 yrds and 3tds. I wonder if some of you even watch the games

I think the Cowboys willl be ok at receiver next year in large part due to the fact that Gallup is a stud and was significantly under utilized last year. They need to get him more involved in crossing routes, etc.

I was pretty high on Hurns last year when we signed him but I have to say I would have been gun shy on him after last year's production without the injury. If we are creative it will be fine.

We need some depth at DT more than any other starting position. Woods is adequate but we need 4 guys total who are at least as good as he is at DT and we don't currently have that on the roster.

We need to be worried about that.

Keller Moore will figure it out. Sanjay Lal will help.

Dak and Gallup need to get that chemistry going. Im intrigued with Wilson, him and Dak looked real nice together during TC last yr. He was showing Gallup up.

Well I'm all for Wilson but it's hard to tell much in TC unless it's against the 1s. Everyone is also rusty and not getting hurt is priority no 1 at that time.

Gallup needs to take the next step.

Hurns or whoever replaces Beasley may be a step down from Beasley.

But to be honest, I think Gallup will be the best #2 WR we have had in years.

Definitely think he will be better than Terrance Williams was as a #2.

Also, there will be slot receivers in the mold of Beasley available in the mid rounds of the draft. I could see them drafting a slot WR/return guy

Would be nice to fill some other holes in FA to allow them to take a receiver in the draft........

If Austin is resigned..

he will get Beasey's throws.

He is faster and should be more of a real weapon.

Beasley was a check down receiver..not a threat.

Witten will add more than who we had last year at TE.

And if they double Cooper..

that is one less in the box vs. Zeke.

With our OL..I like that advantage.

Cooper has had to deal with double-teams his whole career.

They are going to need to move him around to get match ups he can win.

That becomes Moore's domain with playcalling.

We shall see.
