As I recall, back in the day when the Cowboys and Bills were butting heads in Super Bowls, it was the Cowboys that got the better of that deal. The Bills haven't recovered from that so don't get uppity with us until you do.

He's not wrong. If you're going to lose anyway, why not get paid?

It's a true wonder why we can't get any FA's to sign here for cheap. Wonder at what point Jerry starts getting worried that good players, like Tank, aren't going to stay with this team on principle.

For most players money is top priority. Beasley to the Bills and Bell to the Jets, do you think winning is on their mind?

The Cowboys are like any other team, they pay their own pretty well if they decide they are worth the coin. Free Agents are a little different since they usually cost more.

Jerry still has a hangover from the '90's along with a good portion of fans.

He's right, we have to ground to stand on. We haven't won jack

In fact, we're 1 of 3 NFC teams not to make it to the conference championship game this millennium

Cole with a great response, he will be ok in Buffalo...$10.7M in 2019, yeah Bease won this one.

He's walking into a good situation for the Bills fans to like him.

Now arriving in Buffalo, amidst a culture change orchestrated by Brandon Beane, the conversation has shifted to a question: What can he do for this team?

And to put it plain and simple: Catch the ball.

Hauling in receptions was not the Bills strong-suit last season. Many a fan can recall screaming profanities at the television after seeing their “number one” receiver in Kelvin Benjamin drop pass after pass and being totally disinterested with being on the field.

This time around, Beasley sees Benjamin’s abysmal 37.3 percent catch rating and raises his 74.7 percent rating (I am no math major but that looks like an improvement).

The thing that is making Bills fans rejoice about this signing is the fact that Beasley can get open.

Call the fire department! Cole's got burns for days!

You want to resign your own guys? Why on earth would they stay here for less money that they could get elsewhere? Cause they like the stadium so much?

He actually kinda didnt...................he basically said "yea, the Bills suck and dont win but I didnt win anything in Dallas either, so I'm good just collecting checks".
That is not really standing up for your new team:laugh:

He was honest. There's only so much you can do when standing up for the Bills when you're being honest.

And what's wrong with that? It's better than being miserable over other team's recent success. I've never seen someone object so much to someone else's ability to look on the bright side. You seem desperate to tear down my perspective merely because you do not share it.

Shocker: the guy who had to be talked out of quitting the sport as a rookie in training camp turns out to not have much heart for the sport, and doesn't really care if he wins or loses because it's all nothing but a paycheck gig for him.

Who could've seen this twist coming?

Oh, COME ON. The title is pure click-bait.

All he did was say the Cowboys “didn’t win” while he was here, which isn’t exactly controversial since the goal is to win a Super Bowl.

The fans who groan about how the Cowboys “haven’t won anything since 1995” better not say crap about Beasley’s comment.

In a years time it'll be "Beasley.....I remember him, how's he doing". I'm betting it'll be 400-500 yards in a 4-12 team, he was mostly average for Dallas and IMO will continue to be average for the Buccs

He stood up for his new team. What else was he supposed to do?

He didn’t really even do that - saying he didn’t win with the Cowboys either isn’t exqctly saying he expects the Bills to win. All he was really saying is he personally will be fine with the Bills, just as he was with the Cowboys. It’s was just a quick comeback to a fan who gave him grief online. The title of the thread is misleading

LOL! So typical of the cult here. Speak the truth and stone him on the way out the door.
Agreed.

I don't see what he said was bad at all. It's the truth. If winning means making the playoffs every couple of years, then yeah, I guess that would upset some.

But to me winning means a lot more than a participation trophy.

cole beasley has been bitter for a couple years now

let’s not forget this dude quit in training camp his rookie year — idk why he thinks he’s some kind of superstar now
The dude just stated he wants more than 3 balls thrown at him during a game. Beasley makes plays when he is presented with the opportunity! I think the money he got was too much but I dont blame him one bit for being bitter at the way things are done in Dallas. It took him 3 years in Dallas before they finally started to use him! I would be pissed and probably want out too.
