I would think that the player would be looking for $20 million over the next two years. If as has been reported, Miami is willing to pay $6 million of that, I think Dallas could get him for two years and $14 million.

That's my guess.

But it's laughable to think that the Dolphins could think they can get a 3rd and 7th round picks for a guy a year after they themselves got him for just a 4th rounder a year ago.

10 AAV seems about right for Quinn. He might be able to get a little more if he was on the open market, but he is not. But then again Justin Houston is still unsigned. Houston, while older, has been more productive the last two years than Quinn

Yeah, they likely asked for that 4th back.

I wish I could but maybe @Alexander can help?

I think it was him that posted a series of tweets where a guy talked like he knew what the asking prices was.

I'd give up our 2020 4th for their 2020 6th, and give Quinn a 3 year $29M contract with $12-$13.5M guaranteed.
That seems fair to me. They still get a fairly premium pick for eating some of his cap figure. Dolphins are smart for agreeing to a 2020. They will more future pick from us than they would for this current draft. Even if we had all our picks. Considering they are in a full rebuild, the higher the round the better. They dont have a huge need for that pick to be now

I been saying this from the start. Compensation has been ageed to, the thing that was gonna hold it up was going to be negotiating a extension. this deal will be done tomorrow watch
Thats my take as well. I don't see a big interest in NO. They are already playing two pass rushers and they run an odd front, which didnt excell at in Stl
